I just got back from my shopping trip to Joann's and I bought her five fat quarters to go along with this pattern too.

Beautiful job Vicky. I saw that pattern you posted. Gorgeous quilt. Are you going to make the quilt or is your DD? I think it will be stunning but all those geese gives me the heebeejeebees. LOL I'd prefer the applique to them anyday. LOL Your block is beautiful though. She'll love it!

She is going to make the rest of the quilt. When she showed me the pattern she asked if she got the pattern if I could help her out with it. I know she didn't order the pattern yet so I thought I would surprise her with it for her birthday. I have included with the package 2 yards of the background fabric and two yards of black also some fat quarters I bought yesterday that I thought would look good in it. I'm posting the pattern picture again so you can see it.

That is a stunning quilt! Will be exciting to see it completed. I think it is so nice that you & your DD do quilting projects together. I so wish my DD's or DDIL's would take up the hobby or even try it. You are very fortunate. You put together a very nice pkg for your DD.
