I deleted my topic. I'll post here :)

We're getting snow today & I don't have to go anywhere :) I'll be in my sewing room, probably watching creepy movies with a snowy background (The Shining, Fargo & Misery) & sew until my wrists protest :)

I have been entertaining houseguests all week, so have had no time to do any sewing other than handwork on a binding while the tv is on at night. It's been fun, but I am beginning to tucker out with having my "company manners" on all week! LOL

We'll be going to a Christmas party with my quilting buddies later today and I'm really looking forward to that.

Back to work this weekend, after being out with a severe headcold/?flu? for more than 2 weeks...hope it's not a super-busy day...

Anyone ever made the Rainbow Wreath wall quilt from the QIAD free patterns? I worked on one yesterday and am pleased with the way it's working up. I had purchased several different fabrics for the flowers, but the red I found was so pretty, I decided to use it for all the flowers. The wide border is a CUTE Christmas print, so the red flowers and dark green leaves make it look extra Christmas-y.

Can't yet decide what to use for the sashing. I'll lay the wreath blocks out on my bed and play with different choices. Also need to make 16 yo-yos, or figure out something else to use as the flower centers. But not today.....<sniff!>

Good morning EVERYONE!!!
I am just trying to make up my mind as to what I want to do first. Since I have to do it all my self DH can't help because he has surgery coming up next week. I will make a priority list and what ever is on the bottom of that list just has to wait.
Yes I am going to my dear sister's tomorrow to make doll clothes for the kids for christmas. Maybe do some laughing and sewing.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Good Morning Everyone!
Yesterday it was sunny and about 74 degrees here. Beautiful! It was a welcome change from the cloudy-fog we have had all week. I don't think we saw the sunshine for three days!

Today is a shop hop with SewCarolyn and Zfatcat. I will be picking up a quilt at the first stop. They have two long arm quilting machines and it has been machine quilted there. One of the shops on the shop hop is closing so I am not sure how much will be left at that store.

I have not sewn this week due to eye problems, but am hoping to do so soon. I have the binding ready to sew on the quilt being picked up so at least I can do that.

Have a great day everyone!

Not sure what's up here yet. Got the kitchen cleaned up, was going to take a nice warm shower & stay put, but DH has already mentioned a trip to the hardware store, so that may have to wait till later. Quilted till I was really tired last evening, so am taking a short break from that, but getting closer to a finish. Then I can get back to the one I am piecing! Guess I need to think about doing some xmas cards too, lol, got four in the mail in so far. I send to so many who don't send, think I am going to send alot lest this year. Hope you all have a lovely day!

Good Morning Ladies -- I'm going to be working on 2 or 4 stockings today. Since the newlyweds are coming home for Christmas, I thought it would be nice if they had new stockings -- and then thought it would be nice if DH and I had new stockings too. We'll see if I can get four of them done this weekend. Hope you all have a great day, happy trails, jac

I'm still at DD's and am feeling better, so think I'll sit on the couch and sew a fine seam today. Nothing for Christmas...good thing most everything is already done.

I had some fan blocks left over from a swap so am using them for Sunbonnet's skirt and calling her Sunbonnet SueBelle. this one is running, but I haven't figured out why. *smile*
