Good Morning... at 3AM
I am still up working on organizing my sewing room. I guess I need to go to bed. I did not realize it is so late ...or early. I plan to put up a tree today after I take a little nap. I have 2 baby blankets to make by this weekend. Geri

Re: Good Morning... at 3AM
I'm not getting much done right now with friends still here. I'm ready to have my life back
I love them and they love me but it's time.
I did make a birthday block yesterday so all of them are done for January. I have two swaps to work on so I'm thinking about getting started on them today in between going to my DD's and supper sometime.
Tomorrow we are going to a closed quilt shop and picking up fabric they had left after their closing sale!!! I'm so very excited to see whats left. She's selling us quilt shop fabric for a dollar a yard! So even if it's not what would have been my first choice I'm still buying some, I can't wait.
Have a nice day.

GOOD Morning all.
Guess I rolled our of bed a bit to early at 4:10
PepperDawg was ready to get up and moving as well.
I will have a VERY busy day. Dentist, going to the Dutch store in Artesia/Orange County/*blech* a 2 hour drive. Then my first visit in years with my MIL, hopefull that'll go okay.
Then on the way back I am stopping at my son Bjorn to drop off my lap-top for him to repair. Of course we'll go out for a bite to eat before he has to leave to go to a softbal practise game.
Bjorn called me last night, he is listed in the National Sky diving magazine that he passed his A license.
Of course I want a copy of that magazine.
We're hoping that rush hour trafic will have slown down by then to continue my drive back home.
I am still taking Comit Lozenger 2 mg, but I don't need nearly as much as they advise you ro take. They sure do work, just be carefull that you don't OD on nicotene. They DO help NOT to smoke, but 3 per day is plenty for me instead of the recommended 8 per day.
I will be less on-line a few days since Bjorn is going to keep my laptop to install the few things he has ordered for it to make it all better again.
So today I'll be busy, Friday YaY Jeff's office Christmas party att the Sheraton resort where we can bring PepperDawg with us. Even gown atire, going to do my own nails and hair, facial and make-up.
Hopefully Jeff's mood will start to improve, the deal was my nicotene and his Booze OUT the window. I really have to be kind to him about doing this. Alcoholism is very strong in his family.
The rest of the weekend will be spend en sewing/quilting, including all of Monday.
Tuesday is the BOM pot-luck at QIAD, dress to impress and photo shoot. That is the reason I am going ALL the way UP north to go to the Dutch store.
it is SO nice and quiet down stairs here. PepperDawg came downstairs with me, she is laying on her memmory foam bed in front of the fireplace, tightly tucket in, just the way she likes it. I let her out to go potty, gave her a little snack and her medication.
I am wishing ALL of you a sunshiny Day, or at least carry a *smile* in your heart.

Re: Good Morning... at 3AM
Good morning, all! Went on a romp through fabric store yesterday, needed fabric for a Christmas gift for the landlords. Honestly, I couldn't find enough of any one thing I liked in my stash...I do get points for trying, right?
I wanted to buy up nearly every Debbie Mumm Christmas print I looked at....I don't normally do "cutesy" but these designs really got to me! Cute, but not sickening, and with a rustic, a bit primitive, a bit country feeling. Very appealing to me, for some reason.
Got a bunch of batting, too, so should be able now to get going on Jerry's quilt. NOT looking forward to the "sit and shove" part, but I am willing to do it for him. He has more than earned a quilt. Hope he likes it!

Oooooh, MAN!
A skunk just let loose outside....smells like right outside the window in the breezeway....PEEEEEE-YEW! My eyes are watering!
If I wasn't awake before, I sure am now! Surprised the dog isn't barking up a storm...

Boy, some of you beat the chickens up this morning, lol. I got up around 8, shortly before hubby left & am still sipping my first cup of coffee, about time for the second one. Got some major machine quilting done on my quilt today & am hoping to finish it today! Sure like my setup in the frontroom, lol, & DH is not complaining either, so that's nice. Maybe I will actually get more of my tops quilted this winter, that would be nice! Cold here too, in the 40's again. Had lots of sunshine yesterday, hope we see some more today!
Enjoy your day, everyone!
