Good morning, Bev!

Love that pic, have some here, but don't know how to put them here, without adding them to an album somewhere first?

Anyway, what's up with everyone today? Hubby brought me home a bunch of clamps last night, & now I can lay out a quilt to sandwich on my big folding sewing table, & sandwich it! Can't wait to try it this way, I'm sure my back & body will thank me later!

Not alot planned for sure otherwise yet, will see how this quilt sandwiching goes first.

Anyone getting xmas cards yet? We have already gotten two in the mail! Haven't even started mine yet, & not looking forward to it just yet, lol....Nice to get them, but what a chore, handwriting them all!

Got a little more light snow last night, but no big beautiful one here yet, darn! Oh well, winter is just starting, so I guess I have to be patient.

Lost our big dog yesterday, he was 16 last Aug, & had been going downhill the last couple of weeks, so I guess it was time.

Have a great quilty day everyone!

Hugs!

Nancy...

Good Morning Ladies -- so sorry to hear about your dog Nancy! It is so hard to lose a beloved pet. I haven't checked the lately, will go this afternoon, but I'm thinking I might have a couple -- yippee!!

Today is my day to do whatever I want -- yippee!! Of course there is stuff that just has to get done anyway. Clean the kitchen and ranch chores are a daily affair...and other than my riding lesson, (I'm thinking the last one for this year) I get to sew and talk on the phone all day. DD called yesterday, so she won't be calling again today, but my sisters and other family members will probably be calling...makes for a busy day...and then DH is taking me out for dinner tonight. Yeah, I won't have to clean the kitchen up after him tomorrow. So, all in all, turning 54 should be pretty pleasant.

Happy trails, jacquie

you girls are sure busy.

yesterday morning I got a phone call, my mom was on her way to the hospital and had had a stroke...she has since been moved to a bigger more advanced hospital... amazing how your day can change with one phone call isn't it.....

I remember my grandmother guilting my parents into coming to her house for holidays because "this may be Nana's last Christmas" well, it could be any of our last Christmases... I pray all your days are blessed.

hugs

Happy Birthday, Jacquie! 54 is awesome! Sounds like you're going to have a great day...those are the BEST kind...doing anything you want to do!

I'm going with a couple of friends to Maysville, Kentucky to buy our monthly supply of cigarettes (do I hear "boo's"??!! lol). Ohio sales tax is ridculous! I save about $13-15 per carton by going to Ky. I know...I should quit...but I AM slowing down! We always go to Wal Mart over there, too...cheaper than Ohio also! Then to lunch at a buffet!!! That's the BEST part!

Finished my quilt label for my DGS's baseball quilt last night and got the binding half-way done on the tablerunner! Wish I had a digital camera!!!

My "Baby Buds" are completely done, and the HST's are done (yipee!). Won't take long to get them together.

When I get home, I might finish getting my "I Spy" charms ready and take them to the post office...I always worry until I get them mailed. Don't every want to be late getting these swaps out--you never know what tomorrow will bring!

Have fun ya'll!!
