Saturday November 29
Good morning all! My father leaves to back to NC today at noon. Then my friend from KY is coming at 3! She'll be here a week, I doubt I'll get much sewing done.

Good morning Vicky:)
I am at DS's apartment-- trying not to make noise, since I get up so darn early! He bought new dining table, which will hopefully fit in or on my station wagon!! Going home today though, Sunday we are supposed to be getting snow-- some say up to 4", others say 6"!!! Also if I'm home tomorrow I can quilt. After this I am going to sew on a binding for a wall hanging I'm making for work.
Too much to do in a little amount of time!

Good morning ladies! Here is sunny with a high of 27°F. Yesterday I've finished my mystery sampler quilt. I will post a picture later on today. I'm giving this lap quilt to my Mom for Christmas. Today I'll try to work on finishing the tea cup curios swap quilt.
Wishing you all a wonderful day full of sunshine in your heart!

Morning all. It has started to rain here and it will not get very warm. I love it. Glad I have the Christmas tree from the store already. I will probably bring it into the house today.
I want to work on my dad's quilt starting this week, it needs to be quilted and It will take me probably two good wkends w/o interuptions to quilt it. Maybe I can start working on my mom's during the evenings. It pays to be optomistic!
Hope you all have a wonderful day. The snow sounds wonderful, I would LOVE 4 to 6 inches! We have had flurries 2 times in the past three weeks...SO UNUSUAL for here. Maybe that means we can expect a good snow this winter.
Vicky, I hope your dad and friend have safe travel. Does your dad have to go to the western or eastern half of the state?

Good morning from the west coast of the US!
I am feeling antsy to start something new...like I need to start another project! Had an idea to make a Christmas wall hanging for our landlord and his wife. Our soon-to-be EX-landlord, that is...<happy sigh>
They have been SO kind to us over the years, great people to rent from. But we are getting ready to move on to our own place and I would like to do something nice for them. Thinking about doing the It's ELementary wall hanging in Christmas fabrics. I was going through my stash yesterday and couldn't find anything that really "clicked" for me. I have one really pretty Christmas print, but I think it might be a bit wild for them...will have to mull this over some more.

Good morning!
I love being home with my family! I do miss my kiddos at school, but now I am really looking forward to Christmas break!
It snowed last night, a good couple of inches to just make everything beautiful. And since it is so early, it hasn't been tracked on yet by anything except a few critters. My kids will be excited when they wake up. I hope everyone who drives in this is safe.
Happy Saturday!

Good Morning Ladies! Hope everyone who partook of Black Friday survived and got lots of great buys!
I worked on my free motion quilting -- still trying to get the hang of it...some times I do ok -- other times well lets just say it ain't pretty!! I have two of El's Dresden Plate Christmas wreath's (from her Egg Money Quilt book) ready to be sandwiched and quilted and I would really like to get them done this week!! They've only been waiting around for TWO years!! So that's my project for this week -- along with starting the Christmas decorating. Our newly weds, DD and new SIL, will be here for Christmas (their first Christmas together ever in 15 years). Ya'll have a great day, happy trails, jacquie

Today, actually in a few minutes, I will HAVE to venture out to the grocery...(kicking and screaming...I don't want to!) But I'm running out of the essentials!
It's only 3 blocks away though--we are so fortunate to have a grocery in the village...
I'm almost caught up with the laundry, will finish today and maybe I can get to the sewing room!! Yeeee Haaaa! I WANT TO SEW!!!! LOL!
See ya'll later!

Hi Everyone!
I have been up for an hour doing machine quilting and laundry. I am enjoying a second cup of tea while catching up on the posts. My DH is also still asleep. I am trying to decide on the design to free motion on a double Irish Chain. I wanted to look in EQ6 this morning.
I do plan on getting more quilting done today. I have several projects sitting waiting to machine quilt.
Happy Sewing!
