Good morning everyone. The countdown begins for Thanksgiving. I have to go over and make sure I have everything for Thanksgiving. Sure don't want to go to the store after today. Hopefully will get some work done on the 2 quilts that are Christmas presents. Have a good day.

Good morning to all.......up bright & early today, headed to the hospital for a procedure in a little while, this time with meds to help out. Don't have to worry about making dinner this year for Thanksgiving, in-laws are taking everyone to a buffet. (I will miss the leftovers, though) Still struggling through with the Wicked Witch quilt, might be able to do some sewing later on. Hope everyone has a good day.

Grammie - if the "bug" your family has is that contagious, be careful! You're liable to get it yourself--would be awful to have that for Thanksgiving!!
Mequilter - years ago I had Thanksgiving at a restraurant with family and it was really good, BUT...no leftovers, my favorite part! But it'll be nice just to enjoy each other.
Chriss - have a good day at work! Oh what the heck, chop tomorrow and sew today!! lol
luv2quilt - when you're done, send the fairy my way!
Suzette - hope you get to sew!
Don't forget my idea about mashed potatoes in the crockpot and doing the gravy ahead! I'm still excited about how easy everything went when I did that!!!
I'm so glad our Thanksgiving dinner was done on Saturday!! Yippeee! Soooo much easier...and now we have an invitation to DH's son's house for Thursday...his wife is an awesome cook...but I kind of like going to a restraurant..will have to decide soon!
I'll probably do some machine quilting on the Baseball quilt for my DGS. Got the borders marked yesterday. What a back breaker--my back is not good and when I spend any time half bent over a table it kills me. I need to learn to sit down as much as possible, but I feel like that slows me down--need a little patience!!
y'all have a great day!

Good morning everyone!
I am up and ready to sew, of course I will have a dozen interuptions today, as usual. I am ready to load my first large quilt on my frame and get going. I am a little nervous but I am going to give it a whirl and see what happens.
How are Thanksgiving plans coming along for everyone? I am toasting bread in the oven for my Turkey dressing this morning trying to get a jump start on all the chaos. I will be fixing dinner for 8 this year so it is not too bad and my Dad (86 yrs old) is an eat and run kind of guy. He has always been that way, as soon as he eats he visits for a bit, has his dessert and then leaves. Which is fine with me because then everyone else starts to leave also and by then I am so exhausted from cooking and cleaning I am ready to have some quiet time with my DH and DDs.
