Bev,

We have had an extremely large pecan crop this year too, and I've always heard that that means a cold winter is ahead. Also, the almanac is calling for a colder than normal winter. It's right around 32 here this morning, and I'm FREEZING!!! Good weather for snuggling under a quilt! :-)

Good morning, y'all. I just realized that I didn't even check in yesterday. Someone put a jigsaw puzzle link in chit chat and I went there - bbbbiiiiiggggg mistake. Now I'm hooked on them. I sat on my fat a$$ all night last night doing jigsaw puzzles. I did manage to cook dinner and do one load of laundry. Oh, well.

It's been a little nippy here, too. It will get up to 72* today but later in the week we will get another cold front from Canada and the highs will only be in the 60's. That is very unusual - it's feeling more like January and February than November. We are usually still running around in shorts at Thanksgiving. Even at Christmas sometimes. I have to turn on the air conditioner just so I can have a fire going in the fireplace for Christmas.
