Good morning. After work today I can finish the top of the split rail I have been working on. I only have 2 rows to put on then the border. I am trying to decide what to put on the back. The quilt is for one of my grandaughters. i was thinking of flannel but want the back to match the front kinda. The top is made from bright batiks. So, we'll see.

I have to work all day, but when I get home I plan on finishing up the colts quilt.

Hey there everyone... Good Morning,

Suzette, I think flannel is a good choice for your cold winters... I made a flannel quilt and it is just too warm for California....

Iowa and fabric girl, have a super day at work.... wouldn't it be nice to work 4/10's and have an extra day?

Beverly, don't work too hard on that cleaning, it just gets dirty again...

Good Morning,
It's about 40* here in the Sonoran Desert...finally cooler! I've been up since 4am - the dogs wanted breakfast and needed to do the backyard patrol. LOL We normally get up this early since DH has to be at work around 5am. That's ok, more time to quilt.

I'm hoping to work on a few more UFOs today before I go to work later in the afternoon. I'd rather quilt all day, but, gotta bring home some of the bacon. ha!

Well, time for another cup of coffee - happy quilting everyone!

Good morning everyone. Suzette - what about using Minkee for the backing with flannel as the batting?

Chriss - you are doing great. Does it bother you to talk about it or for us to ask how you are doing? It did me - just made me want one.

I wish I'd win the lottery. This job really gets in the way of my quilting.

I didn't make it to the grocery after work yesterday - I stopped and picked up Chinese. It was still raining. Around 11:00 last night we had blowing wind and hail for about 5 minutes. By the weekend our temps are suppose to be getting cooler where the high will only be in the 60's. YIPPEE I can't wait.

Good morning one and all. Today I am going to blow off everything that should get done and just sew. (Catch up on what I wasn't able to do through the week this last week.) My goal is to have the top of DWR completed before Thanksgiving which will give me 2 months to get it quilted.

Everyone have a wonderful day today.
