I just posted this in chit chat too I need help...

I just found some halloween taffy that my DS smooshed into the carpet its all into the fibers of the carpet. I have no idea how to get this out we don't let the kids have that kind of candy on a normal basis.

CArin.....Have you tried freezing it? If you freeze it, it should break out fairly easily.

Afternoon all....taking a break before I head to the kitchen...to start supper....I haven't heard anything about the youngun and her surgery yet...but another one of my friends just called me FROM HER HOSPITAL BED...I hope this isn't a sign that we are all getting old and breaking down.....but I'm sure it is.....oh well....have fun this weekend all.

Hello, I had a friend come over to help make pillowcases. She was so excited that she bought fabric to make some for one of her daughters, and 2 great grand kids. A couple of weeks ago we worked on stockings for Life is grand. Yesterday, she made pillowcases for her family. She's going to give them to the family on TGD. It was a blast trying to show her how to do them I pinned and cut and let her do all of the sewing. Today she was back and we started on the ones for the troops. I think we have 7 finished-and 2 more started. She had to leave at noon. Of course, I casually mentioned when the pillowcases are done, we could work on lap quilts for QOV.Maybe I'll get her hooked yet.
Tonight we are going out to dinner with our "quack" friends. Yes, we enjoy duck jokes, good and bad ones-so feel free to send me some. We are meeting at the local pizza place.
The cornpicker is still broke. I'm not sure how the getting the parts found is going. It's snowing. That's all the news from this corner of the world. Happy stitching all!! Sandy, with cold toes, and needs to find her shoes.

Good morning everyone I hope all is well with your worlds! today is Saturday here in Oz and it is going to be a stinker of a day it is already 78 in your measurment and itis only 6-45am!! I was going to do some gardening but that will have to wait so will quilt instead or rather hand sew!LOL as the quilt I am working on is ALL HANS SEWN! (must be mad) it is a Tita Leach quilt and all ofhers are hand sewn only.have a lovely evening ladies.cheers
