I just looked at Erin's Log Cabin block. It is really pretty! I can see why you wanted to make one as well. I have too many quilts to make right now. After I finish putting together my nephews I am going to make his father (my brother) a quilt. I plan on using Bear in the Woods Quilt. It will be for his 50th birthday in April. I bought the most perfect quilting template with bears and trees in it I plan to use for quilting. I just need to buy the fabric. (Sounds like I need to go shopping doesn't it? LOL)

Carolyn - Did you end up needing to get a new router or was it something else giving you internet troubles?

Carol we are going to try a new router tomorrow. At least we just pop on and off it is frustrating but better than it was last week.

zfatcat - Your quilt is beautious The log cabin pattern confuses me

gmaann - your table runner is amazing is that pattern difficult? looks hard

Got my living room half way moved around. At least the china cabinet is moved. That is such a big job to take everything out, wash it, then put it all back. But now it is all sparkly and clean. It is amazing how much junk we manage to collect. I have one table/storage bin that is just chock full of papers from year ago I checked the whole thing. Good grief

The tablerunner is a 'quilt as you go' pattern by GE Quilt Designs. It is not hard, and once you're done piecing, all you have to do is bind it! My kind of project, as I am not good at quilting. The photo makes it look a little 'off', must have been the camera angle, but it comes out beautifully. GE Quilt Designs has several 'quilt as you go' patterns - for quilts and tablerunners.

Hi y'all. The Houston Int'l. Quilt Festival is over for another year. I'm so tired my eyes are crossing and my sewing room has purchases piled everywhere, I'm flat broke, but we had a wonderful time. I'm on a quilt show high!!!! The restaurant we ate at last night was wonderful - thanks Kenderosa for picking that one out for us. It was so good to see Cathy & her DH, DewDew and Victoria, Kenderosa and DebbyLynn. Welp, I ate breakfast early this morning so I'm hungry. Gonna scratch around and see what I can find to eat. I'll talk to y'all tomorrow.
