Good Sunday Morning----October 12, 2008

Post by dforseth » Sun Oct 12, 2008 2:08 am

It looks like another rainy day here in the Texas Panhandle. After church and lunch it will be a day in the sewing room.

Have a happy Sunday.

Hey, anyone on the west coast up yet? LOL

It must have been chilly last night. The furnace went on a couple times and I only had it set at 64! Around 0430, DH came scootching over to my side of the bed...I was wondering what his intentions were ;-) but it was because his back was cold...! I was about to get up anyway, so I let him toast for a few minutes, then tucked him in good when I got up.

Off to work today, so no sewing for me. <whimper, whimper>

:)

Morning Debbie and CJ.

Yup, our heather went on also CJ. It was brrr cold last night. I had the fire place on.

I had to laugh when you said "I wondered what his intentions were", So cute that you tucked him in before getting up. It's what I do to Jeff as well.

I hope you have a good day at work.

I better go get me some Java. Jeff will sleep for a few more hours.

It's 9:40am here in SW Ohio and cool but sunshine and beautiful!

Debbie, wish we had some of that rain here! It rained the other day, but not enough...

CarolJ - it's usually me scootching to DH and him wondering what MY intentions are! LOL He's like a furnace- he takes the sheet, I take the quilt. Sorry about having to work...I'm so happy with retirement!!

Hey T, what's a "heather"????

I'm on my way back to the basement to wash this stupid "sparkly" fabric AGAIN! I bought some really pretty fabric with sparkles (what a MISTAKE!). It's everywhere!!! I'll be washing, rinsing, drying and shaking all day...

BBL!

Good morning! It's cloudy with a high of 88º forecasted for today. We have another large double peach Hibiscus blooming. They are so beautiful.

I had a difficult time getting to sleep last night so it was almost 8 before I got up this morning. I'm still working on finishing up a pot of coffee.

My plans today are to finish packing and get enough of my quilting/sewing things put away and/or in another room so DH can put up a new ceiling while I'm gone. He's a sweetheart. I'll also probably sleep through the Buc's game this afternoon. Maybe I'll start appliqueing that Boston Terrier I'm supposed to be working on for a friend....will have to wait and see.

I hope everyone has a blissful day.

Morning everyone,
slept in this am till 7. Nice & chilly here at 57 outside. Now this is Cali & we are not used to the cold :o) Got to find those long pants :( Should get to at least 75 today & sunny but wind is blowing hard

Need to get the binding on DGS nascar quilt & then its done. Want to make a pillowcase too but that is quick or yeah and a valance for the window :)

Went to the Temecula car show yesterday & it was nice walking around in the sun. DGS age 4 had a soccer game & its a hoot to see the 4-5 y/o play. Their uniforms are bigger than they are.

Have a good day, & I'll BBL

Good Morning:)

Glad to see so many up and about already! The weather in Wisconsin has been AWESOME-- yesterday in low 70s, should be that way again today. Slept with a couple windows open last night!!

Working on a twin sized quilt for DS that matches colors to a picture he wants to hang on the wall above his couch... has been an interesting ride, changing my mind on colors, etc -- think I have it settled, so I'm going to sew like crazy today to get a good start:)

I'll pop in again later:)

STILL washing "sparkle" fabric!....

Fixing breakfast - sausage, egg & cheese on buns (we call them "Yard Sale" sandwiches, cause we make them when we have yard sales).

I smell the sausage! UMMMMM!
