I KNOW I could make the hot pads, but it's just one thing I never get around to doing! And I liked the colors in this one - even though they are NOTHING like the colors I have in my kitchen!

My old Lover's Knot book (1983 edition) does not have a table runner, and ALL the strips for all the sizes are cut 2 1/2" wide. I saw in the adverisement for the new book that the strips for the table runner were 1 1/2", but I want to be sure that means CUT size, not finished size before I cut anything!

Oh, yeah! I've got the placemat book, too! And those strips are CUT 1 1/2". I'll bet that will be the same for the table runner!

I mad e a set of 12 Christmas placemats for my daughter in CT out of that book several years ago. She's a great entertainer, so needed LOTS!

Work at Joann's was quite busy tonight and I am tired so I am going to crochete a baby blanket for a little bit then head off to bed. My house is a disaster so I have to make some time somehow to clean it. I am thinking I will work on my bedroom and the bathrooms tomorrow to get something done. I have to meet someone at Joann's tomorrow though because I am making a quilt for her and we need to pick out some material. Oh well I just hope I can atleast get a little cleaning done tommorrow.

Everyone have a great evening.

Judi and Gmaann - y'all really had a good day today. I've been in my sewing room all evening. Finished up my tote. I'm going to make some blocks for breast cancer quilts this weekend so I cut the templates out for the French Roses and have the fabric all ready to cut out tomorrow while my BFF is here quilting her quilt. Also I need to finish piecing the backing for my Christmas quilt. Sometime this weekend I suppose I need to do laundry - I get so sick of doing laundry but I shouldn't complain, I guess. That's all I do besides cook my 30 minute suppers. My cleaning lady does the rest. I've always worked so I figure I deserve to have her so that I can spend my free time doing my quilting and such.

I glanced in Chit Chat and the words "Fairy Frost" jumped out at me. So I ordered some of the colors (8) that I don't already have but they really had some great bundles at the Fat Quarter Shop. If I don't stop this ordering on line I won't have any $$$ to spend at the quilt show. Two weeks from today we go to the quilt show - I'm so excited I can't stannnnnnddddd it! Don't tell GP I ordered more Fairy Frost - she'll never let me hear the end of it. She'll think she has converted me.
