What?! You mean you don't bake in stilettos and an apron?! LOL! Well, you just shattered my image of you! LOL! I finished getting my cookbook collection put on bookcases and got so excited thinking about holiday baking coming up. I used to make old world cookies, I have some really neat molds for them and decorate them real pretty. Haven't done that since we started our business, but I'm going to this year, I've missed it. What are you working on? I'm hoping to make these small wallhangings (about 17" x 35") using paper-backed fusible applique, Christmas wallhangings, to give to family at Thanksgiving this year. I have these heavy iron hangars with a star at the top, and the bar at the bottom opens up to change out the wallhangings for each season.

Hi y'all
New Presidential Candidate... It's someone we know right here on the forum. You better check this out for yourselves.

A talk show host started a grassroots effort to elect an unknown random person as President... and guess who has been selected. it's someone we know! Watch this online video about the surprising new nominee:

sorry to shatter your image of me, Pam. I'm working on the second autograph quilt of the Packers, this time for Big Brothers, Big Sisters. I had two rows completely sewn together & then a phone call from the head coach's secretary....seems he "found" his square & wants it included. So, time to frog a few seams & rearrange.....I'm working on the sashing strips of it, which I don't like to do at all. This event is a little more upscale....tickets are $75 each and various chefs from local restaurants do the food. I'm sure it'll be good & I just might get to meet a couple of the players at the event. I'm sure to have my camera that night!! I'm going to call it a night, curl up in my flannel flamingo pj's (complete with travel trailers) and read for a little while. Hope everyone has a good week!

Well, I don't know, it'd be kinda hard to step down off the throne, but....it's my patriotic duty, so be it.

Ok, a chicken in every pot and cotton in every sewing room! How's that for a spur of the moment campaign promise?! LOL!
