No sewing for me tonight. I stopped and bought the movie "Mamma Mia" so we are going to watch that as soon as DH gets out of the shower. I love ABBA so I know I'll enjoy the movie. That quilt ain't going anywhere.

Thanks for the prayers for Sis...I finished some blocks for a baby quilt today....I have been playing with the embroidery machine...I did make some cute samples...Tomorrow I go for my WW weigh in I think I lost but we will see what ww says. I got all my ironing done today and sent out my secret pal for February.....(I'm not tellin where though).... I am cleaning up the sewing room now...

Chriss I am too scared to put anything on my barn block...I'm afraid I'll screw it up so I am just gonna wait and see what the other block are. It took me 2 tries to get it right and I don't want to do it again.

Joanne, Michigan has some very cold weather but this is the coldest stretch I can remember. If I could pack up all my kids and grandkids I'd move to a warmer climate...but I have already told DH...I ain't leavin my brood. He would move south in a heart beat

Well kiddies...I think I'd better get my butt in gear. You all have a great evening.......Enjoy what ever you are doing..and do what you enjoy....XXXOOO

I read about that water park and wondered where it was too! LOL

Barbie Jean - It was Zfatcat(Lori) that said she wanted to go to Chicago show. PM her, I bet she would love to meet you!

I made the friendship star and sent it off to Linda this morning. I wanted something I could get done quickly, I must admit.

I should have gotten more done today than I did. I just woke from napping which is probably a big mistake. I won't be able to get to sleep tonight. DH is driving home. He finished his meeting. I need to go get my dinner.

It's not the math in quilting that gets me, it's the execution! I can do the math fairly well, but when I go to sew, somehow I always get just a little off. I'm getting better though. Maybe I just need more practice. never did get anything else done except talk to my dad on the phone. He'll be coming through on his way to a conference next month so we'll get to see him for an hour or so. Yay! That's the bad part about being married to an army guy, I don't get to see my family as often as I want. Oh well. 2 1/2 yrs. and we'll be going home. And I'll be taking a short trip around the first of March to help finish up with my Mom's stuff. That's going to be hard, but I think I'll make it through. Sorry for the long post, been kinda down tonight and needed to let a little out.
