Am watching men's figure skating and waiting for last load to dry. I stopped at three.
I'm glad I didn't mix the batter earlier, because DH decided since he had something sweet for breakfast, pancakes weren't a good idea. So now he wants sausage, eggs and biscuits. OK. Bacon back in freezer, sausage out. It is easier on days I work. I just come home and say this is what we're having or where we're going.
Will lock myself in sewing room later this evening. Then he can watch old science shows in peace and I can get some stuff done.
Puppies are not tarrying outside today. They're just too old for this fun in the snow stuff. I went to sweep the steps and Krissie gave me a dirty look because I wouldn't bring her in until I was finished. They are so funny.
Clothes are ready, so will run get the wrinkleables (new word) out and get underwear later.

Over all it's been a bad day. I'm very sad tonight. We went off to church this morning and I have done something to my back, it is hurting pretty bad. We came home around 6 and there was a message that my friend Jill had passed on.

I'm sad and depressed tonight.

Hi everyone. I had planned on sewing today, but had a little drama instead. I went to the LQS and bought fabric for a feather star pattern and when I got home the gas tank of my vehicle started leaking. I have a 30 gallon tank so I had to call out the fire departmant because DH in in IL right now. It's all over now, but it took up 3 hours of my day. UGH! Maybe I can get a little sewing in tonight. Hope everyone has a great evening. Lori

Oh Vicky, I'm so sorry to hear about your friend passing, and your back out, too. What a day you've had, big hugs to you, sweetie.

Maryq, Mamma Mia, oh my gosh!!! I rented that movie before Christmas and DH has driven our whole family NUTS with it, he got the DVD, then proceeded to get a bunch of Abba CD's and plays them non-stop everywhere, I kid you not! For 23 yrs. he drove me bonkers with Rush and Genesis and Yes and now he's on a major Abba kick! I love Abba's music and the movie is just so FUN, but after 150,000,000 at warp decibel, and lord have mercy...he HAS to sing along, as well...ROFLOL!

My youngest son has spent the weekend with us and brought Wally, my grand-dog, too. They're going to spend the night again, and Wally will hang out with Daisy and I tomorrow. He's about 80 lbs., a lot bigger than I'm used to, but he's real gentle and loves his grandma, so...... Daisy has been so tolerant and nice to him, I flat can't believe it! She's always been such a little shrew to other dogs that come to our home, maybe it's because ole Wally "Minds" her and let's her rule him! LOL!...Daisy sounds like me, I like a man that let's me have my way, too! ROFLOL!

Just got home from dinner, going to try to catch up reading what all ya'll are up to....

LOL Rosie! Your DH won't live to see dinner at the rate he's going! lol! Hand him the peanut butter and a loaf of bread! lol! Just kidding..my DH is the opposite..won't tell me anything to fix..sometimes it's just so much easier when they tell you exactly what they want you to fix...

Kho, sounds like the flu. Ugh! Drink lots and get some rest girl!

Vicky, I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend...prayers for you and any family. My back gets out of whack every once in a while and I put ice on for 15 min. and off for 15 min. Get some rest!

Ya'll sound like you're having alot of fun with El's BOM!! I'd like to do that, too, but maybe in a few months...money is tight right now what with heating, taxes, etc. (I'm probably "preaching to the choir", right?!) My dear ex MIL used to say, if you can just hold on until spring things will ease up! lol! It's cheaper to live in the warm months.

I'm working on my Wild Crumb quilt that will go to my step DGS for Christmas..all brights and black. It's fun to do, I think I'm getting the hang of it now.
