Good evening! We had some storms roll through early this evening. No damage, and only 0.45” rain. We could use a little more than that, but we are thankful for what we got. The winds blew all day then really picked up for the storm. Tomorrow… rain and SN*# showers forecast with 27 degrees tomorrow night. Our fruit trees are in bloom; guess there will be no fruits to harvest.

Sherry—how neat to see Jim Nabors in person! My DSIL would surprise you, too, with his singing although he has a robust, deep voice. He can really belt out a song and has great range.

Jana—thanks for the info on the electronics surge protectors! I have my computer, antennas (cell phones, wireless internet), and chargers hooked up to one. I still usually unplug. I also have them for the TV and I think I put one on the refrigerator. I need one for my sewing machine, but if it got wiped out, I might be able to get a newer model.

MaryZ—we don’t have barns for the cows. They hunker down on the plains or in the timber. Some of them could get in the barn, but they never do. After the storm, they were all up here in the pasture beside the house. All is good!

We may still have some storms tonight, but I think the dangerous ones are over. I got no sewing done. Dishes, cooking, more cooking, more dishes… Tinker Bell came in dripping water in puddles throughout the house and stood in my sewing room floor. By the time I got everything mopped up, DH asked if I wanted to go for a ride… hours later… LOL! I got some more rocks, and we moved a birdbath and elevated it off the ground. I will like it better, and I hope the birds will, too. It will also be easier (more convenient) to keep filled where it is.

I’m hoping that none of you get caught in storms and have no damage!
