Good evening! DH had a meeting today, so I got to sew. I worked on the table runners/candle mats and got most of them quilted (all but 3). Tomorrow I will finish quilting and then start binding.

When DH came home from his meeting, we took the dogs out for a run. It was only about 30 degrees, so I was bundled up once again for the ATV. The dogs were full of exuberant joy as they ran through the winter wonderland with the little snow we had stopping to smell weeds then running full tilt again. The pond is completely frozen, and there are paw prints where they have run across it. That definitely makes me nervous! Hopefully they will have their brains back when the pond begins to thaw.

Tina, Easton is a doll! I would have trouble letting him go home!

Izzy—our DGS and his wife live at the other end of our property. I will be close to great-grands… hopefully someday.

Sharon—the dogs are staying warm and happy. They would love to have children to play with them!

MaryZ—your photos made me remember our wood-burning days. We, too, were warmed several times over by the time the stove was stuffed. DH has been cutting and splitting wood and will probably try to sell it or give it away on the radio trading post since we don’t use it any more.

CindyG—I used to make a fruit bar cookie that was so good. I don’t have the recipe any more. I’m not sure anyone here would like them except my DH and my DD. They were even better than fruitcake, and I do like good fruitcake.

Have a great evening, All!
