Re: TGIF January 30th
Congratulations Rosie! I sure hope you find those keys!! That must be awful to have dropped them in the snow. I had never thought about how bad it is to live in snow until you dear ladies have been posting how you cannot see how the windows and dropping the keys, besides of course of just being cold!
Well I have accomplished a great deal of quilting and fully intend to continue today, however while snipping a thread my finger got in the way of the scissors. (Those are sharp scissors I am using!) I have managed to get 4 loads of laundry done - the fourth one is in washer, the rest are folded. I also got the bedroom cleaned. I cleaned the kitchen yesterday.
Carin must be cleaning instead of looking in on us "T" guess we will have to enjoy this wonderful weather ourselves! It is supposed to rain next Thursday. (I hope it does!!!)

Re: TGIF January 30th
Just finished up supper......I cook, he cleans up! That's the way it's supposed to be, right? It felt so good to get out this afternoon......blue skies, lots of snow but the sunshine was out! We went to the grocery store, cell phone place, garden place and stopped at a mall.....DD had given me a gift card for Christmas & it was still unused. So, found a really cute sweater & turtleneck & all it cost me was $1.35......then the store next to it was having a clearance on their "body mist".......$3.oo apiece, so of course, I needed a couple of those. So, all in all, not a real expensive afternoon. Didn't get any sewing done, but if I can stay awake for awhile, I'll head in there & see if I can do any damage to the geese!!

Good evening all. I am going to spend the evening working on a baby quilt. I just got invited to another baby shower in May,, but I am sending a gift. This is not someone who would appreciate the work that goes into a quilt. T glad to see your feeling ok, Sis is doing well I talked to her a short while ago and she got 2 units of blood and was able to GO so she now thinks she can come home in the morning after her Doc comes in.

Dinner's over, jeopardy is on and then will go hide in my little room.
Probably will toddle out in time to see Numbers. Just a good show.
Me, you have the same kitchen situation we have. I think it works out well. He says he can cook, but he cooked in the army and really has trouble cooking for less than a platoon.
Q7, I can live w/ losing the keys, but the fob was hand made leather that looked like a belt. I've had in for years and hate to lose it. Of course replacing these new keys with the computer chips can be pricey.

Fear of geese.........no more!! Girls, they are so easy to do the "El" way......just take your time & the rulers are the best thing ever invented. If I can do them being "under the influence" believe me anybody can. I'm more scared about sewing all those pieces together....they're laid out in order now, I'll tackle them tomorrow morning.
I'm headed off to the couch, flannel pj's & warm quilt to cover up with. Hope everyone has a good night & sweet dreams. Tul....I'm still waiting for the sample of the drip-catcher!

Re: TGIF January 30th
LOL Tul:) they aren't PERFECT. Actually, I had to take a few out because I messed up cutting them, got distracted just as I was cutting. It's hard to quilt with a toddler around:) We just got back from the store, had to get some fabric for an apron. Now I have to go make dinner. I did get the onesie sewn up, I just have to add the snaps. Using sew on ones, I don't like the others.
