I have been working on a rag quilt. It is all done except for two rows of clipping. I took a break cause my hand got tired. I am really excited about htis quilt. It's for me. Pacific fabric has the most beautiful flannel I have ever seen. It is soft muted colors and so soft to the touch it is just luscious. Can't wait to get it washed

My husband has been sick all week and had to close his office. So I haven't had to do the medical insurance at night and have actually been able to sew in the evenings.

I am trying to finish a McKenna Ryan art quilt with lots of little pieces to trace, cut and fuse, then sew around with invisible thread. I have been working on it for 2 years (in bits and pieces). Last night I was able to finally start sewing the blocks together and tonight I can add more of the tree appliques that overlap the seams. It is tedious and time-consuming but will look so good when it is finished.

Hi Everyone!!
This is really a treat to have a sew-in on Thursday!

I finished binding the quilt for my DH's friend. He is going to take her flying tomorrow and will give her the quilt. (He has a private pilot's license.) I need to take a picture and post the picture so that is what I will do right now. BBL

Denise and Lori--I am doing that quilt in Black and Gold I have 2 prints that look cool together. My friend Betsy (Buttercup) is doing the class with me. We spent hours picking out our fabrics and now she doesn't like her fabric and is going to replace it. I don't have time tomorrow to go shopping with her so I won't see her selection until Sunday.

It is very pretty! I know yours will be gorgeous!! Black and gold sound beautiful together!!

I am cutting out a Birds in the Air quilt. The Birds and nests are red, background soft white and I will be doing a sawtooth border in the same reds and white. Another border will be a black print with white and a little red.
