Good morning!

I have a rare few minutes this morning so I thought I'd pop in on y favorite group of quilters.

Sherry - I know you'll find the perfect pup for you.

Maryq - how exciting - all these home improvements and a new washer - it's good to be you as our Chriss would say.

Redtop - I'm glad the tests were normal. Sure hope they can help you with the pain.

Vicky - it's so good to see you feeling better.

Diana - I need to go put on warmer clothes after reading your post.

Kathy - I know today will be the day for you and WW.

Judi - sounds like you're having a blast. Your shrimp sounds wonfpderful.

Becca -I sure hope these meds do the trick and you get back to feeling good.

Maryz - boy oh boy you need to watch out for that wine. But maybe that's what helps with Dear Jane.

Izzy - have 'fun' at school.

Leah - I agree with you andc crowds.

Suzette - YAY! It's almost done.

Lois - sorry about the coughing and lack df sleep. Good luck with training today.

Jules - you are such a good sister - prayers going up for your visit and for her.

Well looks like our plans have changed again so off I go. Now I need to go blaze a trail through the upstairs for company. Oh - the birds finally found our bird feeders! Hope everyone has a great day. Xoxo Sharona

Suzette, congrats on the end of radiation.

I will be working my store today with my hubby, not unusual there. but my 2 basset hounds, Sweet and Sour, go to work with me so it isn't so bad!

FarmChick - The dr called in some burn cream and hubby picked it up today. The cream heals the skin where it is peeling. You can use the cream to heal any kind of burn. She told me to keep it in case of burns from an iron or the stove or sunburn.
CindyG - my skin stings from where it is peeling. The skin is kinda raw.
MaryQ - yes, I will have follow up. In April I have to see a medical oncologist and he will prescribe Tamoxifan for the next 5 years. That is to prevent the cancer from coming back. Plus the surgeon is sometime this month. She wants to do another mammogram to make sure everything is gone.

Have a good afternoon

Morning Gals.

What weird weather we had last night....thunder, lightening, and hail. I have lived here in the Great PNW since 2007 and I believe I can count on one hand the number of times I have heard thunder and seen lightening! Not sure what is in store for today.

Had my post-op appointment on Tuesday. All is good. I still am having vag bleeding, so my appointment for that is on Monday. All in all, I am feeling a hundered percent better. Hopefully, I will be off the oxygen next week, too.

I have a quilting retreat next week and I am not looking to be dragging my oxygen tanks with me! LOL I am looking forward to just getting away and just sewing and hanging out with the girls for a few days. We will be at another site this time so I am anxious to see what it is like. It is on Vashon Island, so I am hoping we have a water view.

It is so boring at work right now. They are having a "mobility exercise" this week, so everyone is off playing war...we are just sitting here twiddling our thumbs! I could probably find something to do if I really wanted to, but I don't, so I won't! LOL

Well, I best close for now...the boss is headed down this way just to check in....he likes to chat sometimes, so I am going to try to look "busy"!

Prayers for those in need.

Hugs,
Mel

Good morning!

Rainy, snowy and cloudy here - we are getting the storm that just hit the PNW. The grass is slowly turning green - but we will get aat least another frost between now and April - maybe even snow on the valley floor.

Just finished re- arranging the front living room - i wasn't happy with the furniture placement, so I will try DH's way - looks good. My new drapes will be here anytime for that room. I can't wait until they are hung! The company that made them, will also install.

Working on blocks - I have two different projects going - at least they are totally different colors, so I won't get them mixed up.

Suzette - that burn cream is a miracle! When DS4 was in high school, he dropped a hot iron on his forearm and third degree burned it - DR. gave us that burn cream and you can't even find the scar now - the original burn was in the shape of a large triangle - about 4 inches.

Well I only have a few more minutes before I have to leave and go and play with the other grands - it is speech today for Logan. He is doing so well - we are down to 2 sounds that he is having problems with - so not much more of this and we will be done.

Hugs,
Jana

Coughing fits that keep you up all night I hate those nights, then mths to recover.. Dr. here don't prescribe antibiotics anymore for me, cause legally only if they know the virus.. Apparently, our body gets used to antiobios and they don't work..

I'll keep in mind the warm water trick, for when I need it, next.. Even a hot steamer doesn't always help.. Two years ago, I was folded over trying to breathe in, as I looked up in mirror saw my grandfather mother's side, who had emphasima... Then it hit me..

Mr. Dr. say it was a form of asthma, that occurs now & then, and something could trigger it.. Went on internet, and they even mentioned stress as a factor. Weather, polen many to eliminate.
