Good morning!
Today is beautiful out here in the Mountain West! The sky is pretty and I haven't looked at the temps - I just keeping telling myself that as long as I am inside is is pretty! LOL
Congrats Maryz to your team on winning yesterday. About all I can say is, I thought that it took two teams to play a game - one just didn't show up!
Still working on the birdhouses - getting there slowly - but almost finished with all the satin stitching on each block - there are three different houses on each block that needs to be stitched down, then the embroidery for the bird.
I have the uglies going in "new" and the rest of the house is already straightened up - hopefully the freezer repair guy will show up today and get it all fixed - kind of annoying that when I want something out of the freezer I have to get in the car and drive up to Sarah's house, about 1/2 mile away and then back again! LOL I know, I am being silly!
Well I had better make hay while the sunshines and I have time to myself -
Hugs
Jana

Re: Monday, February 3rd
Good afternoon from snowy, wintery, SW. Pa...Yep, another blast from Mother Nature! I thought we'd just get a dusting but that dusting is now at least 5 inches and not wanting to stop.....Just now the snow plow is working on our street.....
Jim had an early appointment to have his arm checked but there was no way he could go...So now he's waiting for them to call and reschedule...I really do consider us very blessed and I'm not complaining but these "golden years" are becoming just a bit tarnished....
We watched very little of the game yesterday, just couldn't get interested...I did enjoy the singing of the National Anthem but that was about it.....And I'm sorry for being such an old foggy but, half time, to me was offensive...Oh well, off my box!
With the talk of UFO's, got me thinking and as much as I hate to admit it, I have quite a few...And there are some finished tops I don't even like...What possessed me to do them, I'll never know....
Suzette, so glad to hear the treatments are going well....And as you said, no matter how prepared you think you might be, when someone passes, it's a shock....So sorry for the loss....
Chriss, some how, I can't imagine you being a slug...When you put in a week as you do, I think you deserve to do exactly what you want or nothing, if that's what you want...Also glad you got some new socks...Can't have your "piggies" getting chilled.....
And for all those inquiring minds, wondering what ground hog tastes like, I might have the answer....Years ago, probably about 70, another farmer actually cooked and brought some to the house...No one in my family would touch it but he said, it tasted just like roast beef, very tender....Every year, we have a family of those "hogs" living under our shed and there is no way this old gal is going to cook up one....And I also join the bunch that wouldn't want to hold one, either.............
And on that note, disgusting as it was, I need to find something to do....
You all have a great day.....
Stay warm, stay safe!

Been typing my resume into my computer document, half way through clicked on wrong key and vamouche all gone. NOW! have to start over again. Technology one step forward 2 backwards. Don't know sometimes if we're getting ahead in this world or just creating inventions.
Here, postal systems are grinding their teeth might lose their jobs due to technology I really don't know why they worry with wages they make... As if the postal systems be gone overgnight. Not happening!
How did it work before postal hein?

Good evening! We worked in at the rental today. Then, after an ice cream cone (I work cheaply), I had to get groceries. Silly me, I thought the store would be vacant after the big game and on Monday, but it was packed. Must have been everyone stocking up for the snow tomorrow. We will be going back to the rental to paint again on Wednesday and do some more wall repairs.
Irish—I have cooked beaver for DH, but I wouldn’t eat any. I’ve also cooked squirrel and rabbit (which I don’t eat either). I’m never impressed with the half-time show. I didn’t see yesterday’s.
Time to put my feet up now that dinner is over and the dishes washed.
