Well it is late, but I made it back.
Restaurant was so very busy, we decided that we better go to McD's for a quicker breakfast today. I ordered the "Big Breakfast". It was actually very good. Might order that again sometime.
After church, I started right in on my applique pieces for my Bird House blocks. I now have all my pieces ready to press down in place and then start stitching them down. That is the fun part to me. I love to see the block take on their character. Each will have a little different color combinations. Since it was 4PM by the time I got all that done, I decided that was it for today.
I started a discussion this morning over in "Notions". No one has added a comment as yet. Hope you will all share your opinions as I am looking to learn what other quilters are choosing. I will appreciate your comments.
Maryz Lyn and I are still thinking about trying to meet you when you get to Texas. Lyn found a little town called "Shiner" that has a LQS. It would be about 1/2 way for us and for Cindyg and Sue and anyone else that is from over there by Houston. Did you hear any reply back from anyone about getting together, or have you changed you mind about this??
Judi: That's a really good kitty to travel like that. Years ago, when we tried to take our kitty along, we had to get a pill from the vet to calm him. It calmed him so much he was loopy for a couple of days.
I hated that. It kinda worried me.

Sharona - Sorry to hear about your pain. Aren't bodies weird? I'm watching the Bronco game; so far, so good!
Chriss - Glad the girls had fun ice skating. I never learned to do that, just learned roller skating. I did love skiing which surprises me now since I do not like being cold!

JANA - Bring it on!!! you better get some fake nails for the next one. you're going to need them! lol!
VELDA - sure, we're up for a meet'n'greet with anyone who can! It would be fun. Bill likes Shiner. He and all our guy friends at our campground last year made a pilgrimage to the brewery there. He's already smacking his lips. But not knowing our dates, just where wer'e staying, and the plans of my DD, we can't fine-tune dates yet. But we'll get it together then. Will that work for you?
SUZ, thanks for the offer of looking up LQS's, but I have that same directory. My problem is getting my driver to agree to go looking for shops while hauling our fifth-wheel and tote/ATV around! He gets cranky sometimes. haha!
