Re: Thursday, January 9 (Friday Eve)
Good evening from a warming up Illinois,
We are in the double digits on the plus side. We are expecting freezing rain tonight and maybe tomorrow and then rain. That sounds warm.
The missing ambulance has been recovered. The man who stole it from the hospital in Rockford got it stuck in a snowbank and walked to a farmhouse, and asked for a ride to wal-mart. He tried to run over a couple of folks trying to stop him from taking it, so he is in serious trouble. He did enjoy it, every where it was spotted he had the lights and sirens going. Looking forward to hearing more about this one.
DS2 is on his way to South Dakota. His dog is missing him. He is back and forth and up and down. About the time the dog adjusts to him being gone, he'll show up. I thought about cleaning his room and maybe painting, but have decided against it.
Saturday night we are going to party that our DGD is hosting. We are having cheeseball, black olives and pizza. We are making our own pizza. With english muffins and sauce and our own toppings. This was all of her idea. Will be interesting to see what games she comes up with, hopefully not hide and seek. Too many of us for that one.
That's all the news here.
Sandy, with no robins to report, but the squirrels have invaded our yard and bird feeders..
