Good very late afternoon!
Went out with Sarah this morning to get a prezzie for DH - the Scrooge went against what we had agreed too - so did I! LOL It is a framed picture that he has wanted for a long time - a painting of George Washington kneeling in prayer at the side of his horse at Valley Forge. It is a great painting - I got just a framed print. So it is hiding up at Sarah's - so great that she just lives around the corner!
Been down in the Batt Cave sewing today as well - DDIl is coming over for me to embroider names on the tops of Christmas stockings that she has made for her siblings and nieces.
The fancy bows I learned to tie are made with the Deluxe E-Z Bow maker - I got it at JoAnn's a few years back - lost the instructions - so found them on line. Works great! I used wired ribbon - that was the same on both sides - made a step easier when assembling the bow. I did mine with 2 inch loops - looks great on the little wreath wall hangings that I made. DH saves tie-wraps that come on packages that hold everything in place - worked nice as I didn't have to find my paddle wire. They are like bread wrappers, only longer - I swiped a few from his stash! Sssh - don't tell on me!
Well, DDIL just got here - tomorrow I hope to post the pics of the house all decorated!
Hugs,
Jana

My Sis is trying to talk me into another class...but I am not sure I want to....as I am trying to start the Christmas quilt for next year...Also I have a couple of other projects I want to do....Our LQS has quilting camp on fridays,,,,you go in at 10am...and they provide lunch and/or dinner coffee and snacks and you sew till 4pm....no interuptions...and if you need help there is always someone on staff to help you...and it is in the shop itself....how cool it that and it is $20 for everything including meals...I might have to try this and see how much I can get done with out the computer or Ken wanting my attention..and how much shopping I would do if I was there....????

WOW Judi, that quilt camp sounds great and what a deal. Is it at the same quilt store you took Stitcher's Garden?
