Val sounds like youve had fun. Oh I would love to see Els place and sewing studio. I havent been in the qiad shop in paducah will have to do it this time:) I always do her tent show I just love that. This year going to get closer seat:) Usually have DD in w/c with me and she gets a lil loud so we always sit in back row away from otheres so not to disrupt:)

My relationship with my computer is going downhill with all the freezing it's doing.

That snow that many of you have had west of me is coming my way Sat. I'll be shoveling my self out.

just to say many thanks for your comments on the Treadle Machine we have been offered.....we are just waiting to hear from our friend if the price he quoted is ok with his family......I did check the serial number....thank you farmchick......its 1916.....so it looks like we are about to have a new addition to the family abode.....

Good afternoon....


It is 23 degrees with wind chill of 8! Freezing cold. I guess I will pick Coop up from school since it is so cold. The bus ride is long and usually he is grumpy when he gets home. For whatever reason he likes to be picked up!

Teresa....good luck with the sp next year. I don't think it is an easy thing to do.

Maryz...have fun visiting with your sis and family. You will be busy for awhile.

Farmchick....I am right there with you. I am not a winter person. When will it be summer again? Sad thing is it isn't officially winter yet! We have had some crazy weather here.

Chriss....where do you find a glow in the dark basketball? It sounds like fun to me!

Well I am going to TRY and make some Christmas cookies today. We shall see what happens. It's not so easy sometimes when you have help. I do have to say having the kids here is fun, they are so excited about Christmas. They ask everyday if Santa is coming tonight. We are doing the Elf on the Shelf and I am running out of places to hide him. I can't hide him too hard...they have a hard time finding him when he's right in sight!

Christmas mouse beware
You tried to pull a clever stunt
when down you ran this morning on my stairs

chumley may be lazy on tv
snicker doodles are not something to eat
OH NO you should be scared you see
because those two cookies have 4 feet.

Through the house they go
a looking for a mousey treat
If you even think to stick out your nose to show
one of my furr babies will surely pounce you with her feet.

happy they are to look in each room
licking their lips as they look
nope wont have to chase you with a broom
nope wont even in a pot put you to cook

keen is their sense of smell
in the dark their eyes can see
soon to catch you by the tail
and my house mouse free will be

Oh how I love my kitties
searching high and low
soon they too will catch a pretty
mousie to me they will show:)

all will be said and done
my house will once again belong to me
not a single mouse no not one
will be able to run in this house for free!


Thought I would give a lil poetic justice to the furrbaby hunt going on LOL. Now out to feed my other 4 legged babies:))
