4 hours in the mall and grocery store....had lunch in my car,,,,old habit from when I worked...I have 2 more gifts to buy and 2 to order on line. now to put up the tree......

I hate to think of you not decorarting and not having company and not having fun at Christmas.....I decorate for 2 reasons....one to make ME happy and 2 so I don't have to clean....decorations hide all the uglies in your house. I wish there was a way for all of you to come to my house for Christmas I would throw a big party just for all of you....no aloneness for anyone.....What we are short on luxuries we are big on love here..xxxooo

Hi all...thought I'd pop in and say hi!

Suzette.....so happy and thankful your surgery and pathology results went so well. I bet you feel like you can breathe again. Waiting for results is not fun.

Chriss....Lucy is only 3 but talk about attitude! At least at 3 I can distract her attention away from the commercials. Everytime a toy commercial comes on I hear....MIMI I WANT THAT! Cooper usually tells her it's for big kids and she's too little. I agree with the ear phones..are they made of gold or silver? Wow think of what that amount of money can buy! Good luck but I know you have it figured out already.

Maryz...I was looking at pics on fb of Scotty. He has really gotten big. Do you have your tree up yet. Wondering what he thought of it. His name fits him.

Izzie....shopping for yourself is fun. What dies did you get? I've yet to find my rotary cutter. Of course I haven't looked too hard for it either.

Kathy...poor Kim. I hope her test results come back good. She has been thru a lot this past year. Are you decorating this year?

Farmchick...Cooper wants a "real" pet for Christmas!!! This is the last thing I need. SOOO what kind of pet can I get without it being a cat or dog? I thought maybe a hamster or aquarium. His classroom has 2 pet mice but he doesn't really talk about them. How are your sweet pups?

Grammie....glad Sue is getting out and about. Boy are you right about girls being harder (or whatever word you'd use) than boys. I have 2 girls and at 14 life was not fun with them.

I am waiting on my ss to come. I can't believe it is already the 3rd. I need to do some serious Christmas shopping. I did shop for myself yesterday at Connecting Threads. I bought some thread, a kit and some fat quarter bundles. I have never used their fabrics before. Merry Christmas to me.
I made 30 mug rugs for a friend to give to her sunday school class. All I have left is the binding on 15. The first few were fun to make but after that...not so much. I will be so glad to have them finished. I will post pics of them later.

I have to run...bus will be here soon. I hope everyone has a great evening.

Sharon

Sharon—my “babies” are fine. They ganged up on me this afternoon and made me take them for a walk in the woods. They were too funny dancing around and jumping on me to “GO!” I swear, they both came and almost dragged me outside. I was sewing my potholders. I know what you mean about the first ones being fun… when they get to be production, they become mundane and work.

Judi—I love your decorations!

Irish—your Sunbonnet Sue pictures are lots of fun!

DH had to go to town for gasoline in his car, so we stopped and had Pizza Hut buffet. I filled up on salad first and didn’t go overboard on the pizza. Sure was good!

Enjoy your evening!
