Mel - I bought a Presto Pressure Canner in June and used it this year. It is the first time I have ever had a pressure canner and it is wonderful. The Presto comes with everything you need except the jars and goods! Don't let it scare you, it just takes attention to detail.

Hello Again,
I forgot to post that I LOVE Cedar Cove. I tape it and watch it usually on Sunday afternoons, but I finally got to watch SAT's episode today.
Also, I have read that the Hummingbirds migrate alone, not in a flock like other birds. They fly low enough to see the flowers and follow the blooms for feed on their trip. They also say that we do not need to take feeders down to make them go. Nature somehow tells them with the shorter days and cooler temps, that it is time to start moving on.
We are getting straggler's now at our feeders. Should have seen this afternoon, there must have been 25 - 30 honey bees on one of our feeders. Yikes! I sprayed enough to chase them away, then took that feeder down. All season long, never had more than one or two bees hanging around. This was just freaky!!!
Well, time to go. DH taking me out for pizza tonight.
Hugs
Velda
