This morning I started the thread then edited it writing a long to do... well I tried to post and got an error message. At that point I just gave up.

Emily pulled out some of my old orphan blocks and made her sister Kim a table runner for Christmas. She said she is making each of her sisters something quilty this year! What a surprise.

Shannon called this morning on the way back to the ER with Jeny. This time they did a CT scan of her stomach and found that her lymph gland are all swollen in the intestines. They gave her intravenous antibiotics and sent her home with more to take. It is about time they did something for the child, she has lost so much weight. They did ask about crohn's disease, if anyone in the family has it. So I guess she is going to still be taking her on Wednesday to t
he specialist to find out what is going on and why.

I talked to Tia today and she didn't have a good night last night, up a lot with Jovanna and just couldn't sleep well. She was going to take a nap when Jovanna did. I hope soon the baby comes, today would be a good day

I planned my project for my Secret Santa. I was going to sew some on it, but for some reason I don't feel much like sewing today. I made three batches of basil pesto, froze one, will have one for supper and one for church tomorrow. I'm also going to bake a banana cake and put peanut butter frosting on it. I also did a load of laundry. I'm pretty much just hanging out today.

I just posted my Christmas block swap quilt top in pics. Go look. what do you think on adding my border? too busy or go for it LOL would love your opinions. I love it the ladies are great quilters and we had a blast. My very first theme/holiday quilt so excited. Put everything else on back burner to finish so I can quilt it while on vacation:))))

yes, I went to the garage sale... I wasn't sure if I wanted to go because it was an estate sale and usually estate sales here aren't too cheap.. well this one was held by the United Methodist Women and was very cheap... had I gone yesterday there were mroe bargains to be had but there is that work thing that keeps getting in my way....

mostly I got books and patterns.. lots of baltimore album type applique books and I got a couple of envelopes with patterns the lady had photo copied... some are paper piece which is why I have the question above....I did get a double wedding ring pattern with plexi plastic templates.. very cool.. and a sampler pattern from paper pieces.com...I am a happy girl...

Jerry wants to paint my sewing room and he wants to re-do the shelving so I need to come up with a layout to take advantage of my space which is very small 8x10....I am thinking a floor to ceiling book case but not sure about the rest.... think I will figure out a way to get rid of the chair I have in there, no one sits down anyway and make better use of that wall... I need hints girls...

Vicky, I bet Tia has that baby on wednesday... not sure why other than Sunday is church, Monday is the start of the week.. Tuesday is rest up from Monday and Wednesday is in the middle.. I think Wednesday...lol

anyway, I need to go play.... have a groovy afternoon.

Good evening,,,it is between hocket periods so I am cutting binding strips....I finsihed the quilting and binding is next....then a label. Hope it is done by tomorrow.

we ran over to the park tonight to see my second from the youngest grand daughter going to her first homecoming dance tonight and she looked beautiful like a princess, they grow up so fast. then ken took me to eat....(too late to cook) so tomorrow we will have stir fry. I am excited to get some of these yops quilted...Annebelle was happy too..Hoe you all have a great night,,,XXXOOO

Hello ladies -

Just a quick post. We closed yesterday and then picked up DS2 and DGD12 from the airport. We tarted moving stuff today. It is 7:30 and I am headed to bed.sure miss my time with y'all.
