I did it again! I got everything typed in and it all went away. I am not going to type it all again. Just know that I am praying for all of you. Not much going on here in NW Ohio today.

Dolores - Our beagle loves fruits and vegetables especially green beans. I checked with our vet and she said 3 things dogs need to stay away from is chocolate, grapes and raisins.

FarmChick - Are you a serious cross-stitcher also? As much as I love quilting I love doing my cross-stitch projects just as much.

Well, I am going to go before I erase this little bit also. I had written a lot more originally. Have a good day all. Fabric always comes before uglies. LOL

Good afternoon! I’m on break with a cup of tea… I finished putting the 42 hexies together, now to figure out what to do about borders… I had forgotten how addicting the hexies could be—hadn’t worked on any the last four plus years…

Sherry—I used to do only cross stitch; then I discovered quilting and never seriously went back. Since my DD got me a box of floss and a few books and fabrics, I pick it up now and then.

Vicky—so glad you got to have a relaxing day, and the fresh corn for dinner is a perfect ending!

O’Dorothy—I always laugh at Frick & Frack… sounds so much like our house! There’s always something to pull us away from the job before it’s finished here, too.

Jana—know you will enjoy having Sarah closer! Hope it works out for her, and for you! I thought of you the other day when you said you cut some blocks or sashings ½” too small. I did the same thing on the pinwheel sashings… Grrr!!! Now I have to use the “scraps”… I THOUGHT I had measured twice… The mind is a terrible thing to lose…

Izzy—hope you have a fall crop of beans! We are creeping into the 90s after a delightful few weeks of 80s.

Lyn—thanks for the dog info! So sorry it was such a close call for you to find it out. In the “old” days, women “turned” shirt collars. When the “good side” wore out, they removed the collars, turned the underside to the top and stitched them back in. Good luck to you!

MaryQ—it will be fun to see your twin baby quilts! Sew much fun!!! The first thing I did when I had my “surgery” was go by pretty panties instead of the old, bleachable ones.

Sharona—I do hope they accept your offer on the new house!!! That’s a nice little acreage for privacy. I think the hummingbirds are a great welcome sign for you!!!

ME-Joan—Your Wm Morris quilt definitely deserved ribbons!!! Hope you get it accepted to the next show!

Cindy—I just hate that the chores get in the way of sewing!

Break time is over, speaking of chores… Have a great evening!

Good Afternoon....never got here this morning as DH got me up at the crack of dawn to go get the camper....2 1/2 hr drive, packing it up and 2 1/2 hour drive back then all the towels and sheets to do. I also have a carpet to shampoo as one of the little tikes had a temper tantrum and threw a red popcycle on the floor. Well her Mom gave her a time out and they cleaned it up but I will take the big shampooer out there....then DD came over to get her stuff out of there because she didn't get it all....they had a wonderful time and that is all that matters.
................
I am kinda bummed about the surgery and a little scared too....I still maintain I am the healthiest person I know.....Yeah right! I now have osteoporosis and need a hysterectomy and my blood pressure is a little high....your ptayers certainly are appreciated....The surgery is done with a new technique...5 little holes in your belly with a bandaide to cover each one....Dr said I could drive in a week but no lifting for 6 weeks. (lifting is translated into housework for Kens benefit) But Chriss my heart is fine Cardiologist said do not come back.....unless I have any new problems.....God Forbid I have anything new.....

Well the dryer is singing my name full of beach towels....By the way Colleen offered to do them but I will do them because then I know I get them all back in the camper....they have a bad habit of staying at her house.

Everyone have a great evening,,,Love to all Suzette so happy to hear your DH is doing better.....Make sure he follows up;
