Traci, I am so sorry for your loss. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
Judi, wow, good thing you had that test. Will you be able to give youself the shots or do you have to go in for that? I should probably get a bone density test, too.
Okay...back to work for me!

I finished the tree trunks! Then I started a "yellow" tree. I kind of wished I didn't start them with a color theme. It's going to be pretty hard to keep that up for all 18 trees.
I may make the 6 primary colors then go for all mixed trees. The problem with that is I have a tan/brown tree already made. Oh I don't know what I'll do yet. Isn't quilting fun.. all these decisions!

Hi, I’m back from fishing. Thanks for asking, yesterday was fabulous. I caugh 3 nice bass in the first ½ hour and DH caught a nice bass and a sauger (kinda like a walleye). We didn’t feel like cleaning fish, so we release it. What a pretty fish, though.
Today, the fishing was TERRIBLE! DH caught two, but not I. Something with teeth went after my bait and bit off the tail of my plastic worm. After that, I had a couple of little dinks playing around with me. One actually had the tail of my worm and I almost landed him in the boat, but he did not have the hook and he dropped off as I lifted up. The little dink was so small, he would not have been able to open his mouth wide enough for that big hook. LOL
I had planned to fix French toast when we got done fishing yesterday, but since it stayed cloudy we just kept on having fun. We went to DQ for their $5 buck lunch yesterday, then I fixed the French toast for our dinner last night. It was actually a nice supper.
Tonight I am fixing fish. We both like the SWAI fish that you buy in the freezer section. It is really mild and cooks up so nice. It’s like eating crappie or white bass. Not expensive either.
Since the weather has been so nice lately, I have just put my sewing on the back burner. Plenty of time for that on a rainy or very hot day that is not suitable for being outdoors.
Wishing you all the best. Keep on having fun.

Good afternoon from warm, sunny, SW. Pa....It is warmer and that always means we might have a thunder/lightening storm....But, it's summer and I love it!
Today has turned out rather interesting....Jim and I went out yesterday and got the carpeting for the bathroom and Terry was going to finish the project BUT, sure enough there is a snag....Seems the floor/plywood needs to be replaced and that means the toilet lifted and that means a new seal put in....I'm thinking Terry will be so glad to leave Pa. and head back to N.C. His wife, DIL (without the dear, is a trip...We're never sure if she's staying here or at a girl friend's..She stops in for a meal and then leaves or she'll come and shower and drop off her laundry and expect someone to do it for her.....(She can't do these things because she has MS but she can jump in her car and go, go, go)....Here I go, doing something I vowed not too.....Sorry.....But, having Terry and the boys has been a delight......
Judi, I feel bad that you've gotten bad news....I think the majority of the women tested would have the same diagnoses...I honestly think the drug makers are giving the pill pushers a kick back...I had been told to start one of those drugs, the once a week thing, and although I didn't really have any problems with it, I decided not to take it....Would you believe, my doc told me, he had heard from the manufacturer that I hadn't renewed my RX.....I often wonder what did the women do centuries ago? My DMIL lived to be 99 and never ever took a pill for anything....
Chriss, by now, I'd be so discouraged...It just isn't right! You would think they would try to hurry this along, knowing you and Jerry are honestly good people....I often think people like you (and my Terry) will go straight to Heaven...So sorry to hear about your aunt...Will keep you all in my prayers......
Izzy, I hate to think about the kids starting school and so soon..I always thought school should wait until after Labor Day....And I agree about sitting on the front porch with a cup of coffee or tea....One of my favorite things to do.....
Well, I best get back to the bathroom...I'm sure I can do something...I've gotten pretty darn good with a hammer, but he still won't let me use the saw.....
You all have a good rest of the day...............

Judi and O'Dorothy--I just read this in a Superior Threads newsletter and thought of you... as well as the rest of us who are "of a certain age". Hope you get a kick out of it--I sure did!!!
A distraught senior citizen phoned her doctor's office. "Is it true," she wanted to know, "that the medication you prescribed has to be taken for the rest of my life?"
“Yes, I'm afraid so,” the doctor told her.
There was a moment of silence before the senior lady replied, "I'm wondering then, just how serious is my condition, because this prescription is marked 'No Refills'.”
