My brother is not into quilting. BUT, I did get him in a quilt shop today. He goes back to his son's place to Oreos after I leave for work. Then back to normal. Friday I have a dr. appointment. Just a blood check. Then I may go to a local quilt show. Have a great afternoon.

Maryz... yep, it's the same charm quilt and I really hope to get to work on it by this weekend... I have it sandwiched just need to tie it.. I love it because some poeple on this forum have sent me scraps and some of their scraps are in this quilt..
Sharona, I have an early rising DH too... he starts laundry before 5am... and has all the dishes done early too... crazy...
Scrappy Pat... we're making the same quilt... I love that slotted ruler.. it is such a wonderful thing... I think it's called shape cut... I wait till I have a 50% off coupon at Joanns and sneak in and buy one... can't wait to see your quilt.
Karlene.. are you making baby quilts for people in your church or for a charity?
Tina, glad you've had a few days with Miss Jaz... how are you?
Vicky, I'm looking forward to the day you say that the quilt is done too.. because it means we get to see a picture... it will be beautiful.
Maryq.. both sorry and glad you're home... wish you could have stayed longer... you really have a beautiful family... gorgeous grands... hope you added a squeeze from me.
Cindyg.. I've decided to do it your way... I am stripping all my scrap fabric... I am going to try a log cabin.... it will be a mismatched mess but it will be mine... I have never made a square cabin block but hopefully it will work this time... glad you had fun... my desk was four day weekend piled high too..
Kathy, what is with all the rain you're getting.. it's 100* here... I think we should share...
Karlene.. I had to tell you.. Marilyn loves her tent thing you sent her.. she no longer sleeps with her head under the covers... it's really cool... thanks...
O'Dorothy.. I am glad the doctor has given you the thumbs up... when my son moved to college... I loaded him up too... he was the most thrilled with a two cup measuring cup that I got at a rummage sale...
tomorrow is the last day to sign up for SP...
you all have a super night,
Chriss

Hi Everyone,
Lori - That WIP is beautiful!! Wow, you are ambitious!
Lois - I cannot seem to remember what day it is this week!
Suzette - Isn't it nice to have a little heat wave? We are also supposed to get warmer for a few days.
Debbie - Hope you are sewing!
girl - Be glad for the rain! We are so dry in California. It is the third driest on record I think the weatherman said.
Judi - Hope you enjoyed breakfast and will talk to us tomorrow from home.
Sherry - Hope you got those closets organized and some cross stitch done!
Vicky - Kim's quilt is an ambitious project, but you are in the home stretch. It is beautiful and I look forward to seeing it completed.
MaryQ - Welcome back! Wonderful family picture! Things will get back to routine soon. Hopefully it will warm up for you.
Sharona - Does anyone ever have enough muclch? Just when I think I have bought enough I need more.
Cindy - Welcome back! Although you sound busy at work it sounds like you are not as stressed by it.
Kathy - You are getting so much done! How did you ever find time to work? lol
ScrappyPat - Hope you too get rain and not tornados!!
Karlene - Good for your 89 year old friend!
Tina - Watering is certainly necessary in the Southwest!
Jana - Glad you got rain! It does tend to make the grass grow.
Mel - What color for the railings?
Chriss - Hope tomorrow is better on the computer.
I worked today and it turns out I will be working the rest of the week as well as Monday. Teachers are trying to get report cards done. The district gives them a half day depending on how many students. They are taking it and some are adding another half day. I worked in two classrooms today at two different schools. It isn't easy, but I am allowed to do it and have done it several times this year. Sewing will wait until I am off, which may be as early as next Tuesday. Hope I am off Tueday for my sewing group. Some of the tomato plants are almost 5 feet tall!
