Miriam her stitching is perfect and so tiny. Beautiful quilt and mom. I hope I'm still quilting everyday at 95 too. Lori

Hi, again, y'all!

I had an e-mail from Cindy. She is having computer issues at work and hasn't been able to get in the internet all day today. She wanted me to tell you howdy from her. She should be getting off work just about this minute and is headed for the lake and camping. We've camped at that lake and it's beautiful, even when holiday-crowded. kenderosa Sue will be camping there this weekend, too.

DH and I just spent 2 hours hanging new curtains in our trailer and now I'm off to a haircut. Then home to experiment on a new quilt block before dinner.

Read all the e-mails and Chickie, LOVED all your photos! Especially the one of your beautiful mom!

MEL - it never hurts to start celebrating early! I figure I've reached the age where it takes me a whole week to get all the celebrating done!

Got to run!

Well, I kept checking on dh today to be sure he was doing okay. I think he and one of his brothers got the arrangements made for their dad's service. The other brother said he can't hear anything they say, so there was no point in him going. I'm happier the youngest one went to support his big brother. DH was here checking on me when he got the call. In turn he called both brothers. The younger one was concerned that dh was home alone and had his wife call to check on him. I thought that was nice, as they are not always that thoughtful.

I walked quite a bit today and managed a couple of steps up and down. It feels much, much better, but I have a couple of places in the incision that still gives quite a bit of pain. It is hard to rest at night because of the position. I have come so far that I feel another week will make a great difference. I am trying to do everything that I have been told to do, plus some. I don't want anyone to be able to say, well, if she had only......SIL is going to babysit me so my dd can go to the service and support her daddy. Since I still take some pain meds. they don't think I should stay by myself overnight. Too many chances of falling I guess. Keep us in your prayers.
