Re: MONDAY, May 6th
The glorious sound of rain is music today. Southern California needs the rain so badly. No matter what my plans I really cannot mind the rain. Although, I am staying home and cleanig house. I know it will let up long enough for me to get the shopping done. Tomorrow I will have my sewing group here, so I really need to do some baking too.
All this talk of planting tomatoes. The 14 tomato plants that were planted April 16th already have a few blossoms on their 15+ inches. The cucumbers are also inching up, but not as quickly. It is fun to watch and I cannot wait to eat the fresh produce.
Hope to get to my sewing room later, at least to clean it up!

Hi Again!
Well, I did get to sew some today. I finally have my Lotto Blocks all finished. Now I need to take a picture and post on the May Lotto thread. Finally got my "math" skills tuned in and everything worked this time. Decided to add a little border to the "short" blocks.
I think they look "OK" If Teresa doesn't think they pass, then she will be given authority to take them out of the lotto.
I will post the pictures and see what goes from there.
We have been enjoying the Orieles and the Hummingbirds. They are so pretty, and sing (Orieles) too!!!
Well, gotta run.
Hugs

Good Evening Girls
Just a quick note before I crash on the couch for the night!
Well, baby boy couldn't wait any longer!
Elijah Thomas Cunningham was born this afternoon at 12:53pm Alaska time. Weighing in at 6 pounds 13 ounces. 19.5" tall!
That's about all I know. Tried to call her but I'm thinking she may be pretty busy right at the moment.
Sure can't wait to get my hands on that little one!
See you tomorrow
