Well, the blocks are in rows, and 4 of the rows are sewn into pairs. 3 more seams to go and the center will be done! And I've changed my mind for the 4th time about the borders, but it means I get to go fabric shopping tomorrow:)

Thank all of you for your kindness. *T* I am thrilled you were able to attend the BOM last night. What fun you must have had!! Meq and Vicky I will be praying for you today. Also the DGB in the hospital. Prayers going up for her too.
DGD is here and is some better. She is up and playing and I am getting some fluids in her-not like I would like, on the other hand a little here and there works too.It is very cold here, and we had more snow-about 4 inches. Tomorrow it is going to be windy and cold.DS3 is driving about 2 hours tomorrow and is spending some time with some folks that want to plant a lot of trees. DS is a forestry major, so this is in his field of expertise. He'll be gone till Sunday I think.
For all of you with the warmer weather I hope you enjoy it. Of course you know I am saying this with tongue in cheek-while in my mind I am blowing you a raspberry!!LOL
Coming attractions-I am thinking about a new contest for Feb!!!! I want to put some more thought into it-and of course how best to judge it-which I have 2 folks in mind for that spot!!Once again, no sewing-just clever thinking-so dig out those caps, or make them- the fun is about to begin!!!ROFLOL

Re: Is it too early to start the sew in

I am having a VERY slow and very LONG morning. PepperDawg woke us up early. She is really getting older needing to go potty earlier. But hey, as long as she still wakes us up needing to go that's fine with me.
My heart goes out to all of you that are living in those extreme cold conditions. Do children still have fun playing outside when the weather is that cold? I mean like skating or skiing? We Love wintersports. My son Bjorn just came back from playing in the snow for 2 weeks in CO.
Sandy <grin> I'll look for my thinking cap, it should be here somewhere. You Go girl.
I better get going with the few errands I have to run.
*C*, I'll see you Sat. I am looking forward to quite a few of us getting together.
BBL <maybe>

Greetings from cold, cold SW. Pa...Right now it's snowing and honestly, very pretty (inside looking out)...I'm to work in the Meals on Wheels office in the morning and sure hate to think about going out..It's to get colder and colder and they are calling for more snow... I'm ready for spring!
We finally took the tree down and the living room sure looks naked...I moved the furniture around and the cats aren't sure if they're in the right house....
Better start thinking of something for dinner....
Enjoy the rest of the day, everyone

Irishgram - All of the decorations have been packed up for over a week but DH left the tree up because there was a section of lights that weren't working. He figured out why last night (finally) and took the tree down. It looks naked in my living room, too. We have 2 chairs and an end table that need to be put back in there to cover the nakedness - LOL.
WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO - I just finished printing my W-2's and closing my '08 payroll. All I have to do is stuff the W-2's into envelopes. Man, it's such a relief to get that responsibility done. I feel like the remainder of the month will be a breeze. I am a happy camper.

Howdy...
I went to the quilt guild meeting last night. HUGE group and they are getting ready for their annual quilt show so it was pretty overwhelming. They do have a hostess that stays with you and explains everything when you visit so that was nice. They break into satellite groups of 8-12 that meet once a month. You can join as many groups as you have the time or inclanation for. So I will check into it some more.
Went to Joanns yesterday, got everything on my list plus a lot of fabric that was not on my list LOL However when I got home I realized I forgot to add a couple of things to my list so gosh darn, I have to go back.
Working on pillowcases today and some of the other projects I agreed to so I only have to make ONE trip to the post office. I am beginning to feel like it is my second home LOL
Have a great day

Our department went to Cheesecake Factory today for lunch on the company YUM YUM. I have leftovers and a slice of cheesecake. Now if only I can hide the Cheesecake from my DD LOL. It is Oreo which is her favorite.

If you haven't checked out the Prayer Section, you might want to pop over there & read Teacups post.
