Re: Hi Everybody It's Saturday December 6th2008
Good afternoon everyone. I've been doing laundry this morning and working on my Pink Lemonade quilt using that Natural Splendor fabric that I fell in love with. It is gong to be beautiful even if I say so myself. It is the gorgeous fabric and El's pattern that is making it beautiful. DH had to work today but when he gets home we are going Christmas shopping and then I'll begin wrapping gifts.

you know after Carol drove away I realized we didn't take any photos
we did have fun I did 2 of the 8 shops yesterday and the rest today (and re-visited 1 from yesterday) Carol and I did 7 today and she was going to go to the 8th one as she drove out of my neighborhood. Now I have 8 new patterns and 9 F4 (one store gave 2) to play with
Carol and I loved this ruler system, I think she was going back to get it at the store that had the guy there doing a demo.

I am sending John back to look at it very cool the guideline locks into place which helps prevent cutting errors and the non slip really worked...and it is guaranteed not to chip

DH and I did some running around today, but we had a great brunch at Cracker Barrel and stayed away from the malls. Since their portions are so big and I've had lap band, we split an entree. I can't believe I used to eat that much.
I know I "should" have been sewing, but have been watching the 'Bama/Fla games.
Joe handed me a pair of gloves he wants me to repair. I think it would be easier to buy him another one. It's not like they will fit on my free are. But, will try.
Luv2, I am a Disney nut, but when it comes to cartoons, I really love Jonny Quest. I've been dropping hints for the Hallmark ornament, but I think I'll end up buying it myself.
Caren, you are as strange as I am. Not really into those creepies, but I have been known to wrap Christmas gifts watching silence of the lambs. DH thinks I am really weird.
Will head to the sewing room when game is over. Just have piddly stuff to finish and don't want it to sit too long.
May be back later.

Carolyn and Carol, that pattern for an apron in Egg Money Quilts is perfect. Thanks for suggesting it. Lori

Hi Everyone!
Yes, I did go buy the two rulers and connector! It is really a wonderful ruler. My DH was very impressed with it and hopes it helps with the sore wrists.
Carolyn, he only had two left after I purchased one set. I hope your DH gets over their quickly.
Lori I am glad you found the apron in "Egg Money Quilts". I made one for myself and find that it is a very comfortable apron to wear.
CindyG - I found SewClean at one of the quilt stores today and purchased some. I thank you for your endorsement.
I had a really good time today.
