Re: November 4th
Another beautiful day here in mid-TN! I waited until the temp got up to 60° - very unusual for here this time of year - to go vote. When I was a kid my Mom told me I could wear shorts if the temp was 60 or above. My policy is to wear shorts through October, so I am getting a few extra days this year!! It was 60° by 9AM, so I voted, then went to the grocery store. Now I'm going for my walk. DH says his salsa level is dangerously low, so we're going for Mexican tonight. I LOVE IT - and I love not having to cook or clean up!
Will do some 'getting ready for camp' work when I get home.
Have a great afternoon ALL!

Re: November 4th
Rained so hard here last night it actually woke me up and that is almost impossible. I went to look out the window and the rain was like a curtain coming down sideways. Amazing It is dreary and overcast today, but I don't see how there could be any rain left.
Making progress with the living room, not must else I can do until the chairs come. I do need to do some painting touchups here and there, guess I should do that

The rain stopped long enough to go vote! I have a fire in the fireplace and I am going to make dinner here in a few minutes. DH is a grumpy bear when he doesn't feel well but he thinks he needs to be doing something so he is supervising my DD cleaning her room she is so thrilled (NOT!)

oooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh, I was a bad girl today, but it was fun anyway. I had to go pay a bill and while I was out I ran by the LQS. I needed some new pins, picked them up, but I also picked up another book I have been wanting. It was the last one and the sales person said they were not going to be getting any more of that particular one. I went ahead and purchased it. That makes 2 in one week. Bad, bad rosebud.

Spent the morning waiting for the repair man-who never showed or bothered to call. In between I unloaded 3 or 4 loads of corn. Did some laundry, raked some yard, some small housework, fed the horses, had piano lessons, need to practice more. Would you all be praying for our police and firefighters tonight. I posted this in the prayer section, but thought more might find it sooner here. Have you noticed how after a sports win, cars get torched and windows broken?? I am thinking about what it's going to be like across the nation after the elections results are in.I sure don't want anyone hurt or killed. Thanks, Sandy

Rosebud is now part of the bad girls club. lol
I got another quilt top quilted today. Now I have 2 quilts done, just need to get the binding on them. Haven't watched tv all day. It's just the same thing over and over and over again. I'll watch tonight at 1100 when it's over to see who won. I think I'll go out and get a movie to watch while I sew on the binding. DH and I will just be hanging out at home tonight.

We had a nice warm day here. A nice change for election day.
Our younger daughter works for the town and spent most of the day at the polling place manning the check list.
Our older daughter and my sister-in-law are counting ballots since the polls closed at 7PM. We live in a small town with about 800 registered voters and the paper ballots are hand counted.
