Happy Halloween, everyone....It's a absolutely gorgeous day in SW. Pa...Bright sunshine and temps near 60....I worked in the Meals on Wheels office this morning, had to buy more candy for the 3-4 kids we might get tonight...Someone (not pointing the finger) found the candy and ate it...Tomorrow, bright and early, we're leaving for Shippensburg University, near Lancaster, to see the game and also see 2 of our Grand daughters that are in the band...It's also Sr. recognition day and 1 of the grands is a senior...Sunday, our Meals on Wheels is celebrating their 10th year anniversary with a huge dinner for all the volunteers...I'm going to have a great weekend, tiring but great!
Enjoy the rest of the day and have a good weekend, everyone!

I was just looking up info. for the Paducah show next year and it is going to be hard to get a room I see. Most everything right there is filled up and I sure don't want to have to travel too far to get there everyday. I have never been though and really want to this year with my little girl. She is such a shopper that she would have a blast herself.

Beccasmom, I have one brother that just LOVES jokes. The naughter the better. One year someone purchased a pinoccho (sp???) 'g-string' for him. He was always telling 'fibs'......... He said later that he DID try it on...........

Happy Halloween Every ONE.

Jeff suprised me yesterday. He skipped the last 2 hour session of Microsoft goobly GAG, and started to head home instead.

LOL, No wonder hardly anyone of YOU saw me on-line after he got home.

I have a sewing station downstairs now. My house is ALL about threads, fabrics, iron station, cutting station, Quilting station.

Kitchen and Master bed room and bath rooms are 'spared'. (3 bed rooms, 2 1/2 bath relative small condo)

We usually do not get a lot of trick and treaters, but.....My Gosh it is WONDERFUL sunny weather. We live in a gated community.

Bring it on!

GmaAnn/Ann I posted your Lovers Know from the QIAD new book in the photo section. Your colors are striking. Way to Go and good job!.

*T*
PS, I always have to make spelling corrections. Such is life!

My 'stitch-in' friends have left, it was a great day. I worked on quilting the Lover's Knot tablerunner. MastiffMom will give me a hard time about this, but I do not do well with free-motion, so I stitched in the ditch and then did a little outline stitching. I just love that pattern, and am anxious to start a bigger quilt.

Since our neighbor girls became teenagers, we don't get any trick-or-treaters, so it will be a quiet evening here. May even get the tablerunner bound tonight.

My quilt quild is going on a FART tomorrow, so that should be fun.

Gmaann--I won't bust your hump. If you wanna get better at free motion quilting, you need to practice. If you don't, don't worry about it :) But I KNOW IF you want to, you can :)

xo

I've been working on string blocks this afternoon. It's amazing how many blocks I can make & not make a dent in the little scrap pile I have sitting here.
