MARYZ--Be careful with Joann's gift cards. They are closing all their stores. So, here local the shelves are getting low. Fabric is 50 to 70% off BUT only 2 women are cutting. I looked at the lines of full shopping carts and left the store rather than wait on that line.
Just a little heads up for anyone looking to send you some.

Hate to say it, but if you have a JoAnn's gift card, it's probably worthless now. I was in JoAnn's on a Thursday after the Monday announcement that they were closing. The lady here in Corpus said gift cards would only be honored for a few more days, that another company owns everything now. Sounded like a company bought everything pennies on a dollar.

Lyn, yes, JoAnn's are not taking the gift cards. They told me that when I was in the store in February. I bet you are looking forward to seeing in the new space when you get back.
Judi, bummer about the taxes. We pay quarterly and I try to make it so we break even at the end of the year. Usually within $100. give or take.
Jana, I'm with Mr. G about Apple products.
Maryq, mother nature seems to be a little crazy these days. You garage looks like a fabric warehouse. I want to come shopping there.
Maryz, glad they opted for a Uhaul. Vodka is expensive. lol
I've been taking care of things and then more things pop in my head that I need to do. I haven't put needle and thread to fabric in a while. I may need to do that today sometime. Maybe orange chicken and rice for dinner.
Have a lovely day.

Re: Saturday March 29th
Hi everyone
I've been a tad busy today LOL but I love being able to do stuff in 90% less pain! I have Sunday and Monday left of the prescription. I'm trying to do a little sewing and then take a break then repeat repeat repeat
Maryq, wow lucky lady! I was thinking just your shelves were full LOL
Maryz, I haven't seen the Dr again to have her see if she wants to change my diagnosis...... dr's here don't seem to work the same way as the dr's you have. We were discussing dr's of today with the dr's we grew up with..... it's like opposite ends of the totem pole.
Jana, glad your knee is doing better.
Judi, bummer you owe.
Lois, thankfully we're out of the 80's for at least a week, it was too early for that warm.
Diane, glad that Joe can still get the infusion.
Lyn, you need a do not disturb sign
do you think it would work?
Flo, your bunny really turned out cute
Lori, do you make lists? Maybe that would help a little? Make sure you put something fun like sewing in too.
I believe the news showed that JoAnn's gift cards weren't good after March 14th
The wind is blowing about 25mph all week so I'm just trying to ignore it.
Holly is taking us out to a local Italian restaurant this evening, I'm looking forward to it.
I'll come back and post a couple pics.... Jazmyne's senior pictures and one of Preston that Holly just sent me.
I hope you all have a great day!
Prayers for all in need
Tina

Re: Saturday March 29th
Good evening. what a busy and wonderful day today was.
The kids came and I got my Elliott fix. He's got two teeth now, I told him 18 more and I will take him for a steak dinner. My son took pictures but you know how kids are, I probably won't see them for a day or two.
Judi, while not my garden friends, squirrels, gophers and moles, think they belong in my garden. You could embroider them on your hexi's.
Lois, a pinched nerve is so painful, hope it gets fixed soon. Flower garland sounds pretty.
Diane, so glad the infusions are back on track.
Lyn, nice to have some one come clean the MH. hope you got a good start on those taxes.
Maryz, I love applesauce, and it will smell so good cooking. When all the stuff your SIL is taking to your brothers house gets there, will it all fit? I bet it's fun getting ready for a camping trip and planning everything. So, it sounds like everything is good to go from the accident in Texas. YAY! I bought one shirt at a yard sale. I asked how much, they said $3, I said I'll give you a dollar, they said ok. I'm not paying $3 at a yard sale for one t-shirt
Maryq, I have a mobile home, dad is replacing the skirting on the front side. He also wants to measure the rest of my windows for replacement and change out my door handles, the plan is to have the locks keyed alike. He has other jobs planned, nothing major. Dang girl, that is a lot of totes of fabric. I am tempted to just ask but I so need to use up what I have first.
Jana, when I drop off donations I always go in. Wouldn't want to miss something I can't live without. I'm an apple person. And, I just today figured out how to use the cloud to store pictures. I was able to link my phone to my laptop and now have the pictures on my laptop. trying to keep up with technology. And, because I'm trying to keep up I bought some earbuds and will work on learning how they work. woo hoo me.
Lori, Things take time, you'll get it all done. Don't forget to exhale. I could pick you up and we could go to Maryq's garage warehouse.
Tina, sorry about the wind. yay for Italian food, what did you have. I would have had chix parm.
I made my DIL some crockpot granola, but first had a bowl of it with some almond milk for breakfast. I think that tomorrow I may make myself some crockpot granola. We had sandwich fixings for a late lunch. It was a really nice get together.
Well girls, hope you are all sleeping well, I will see you in the morning,
Chriss
