Chriss, I did not know that about weed killer. I like that they just trusted you and sold it to you. I saw a video of how they make that spaghetti squash the other day. It looks very interesting. I might try it just for fun. I love those squares of cake too, but stay far away from them. It would be okay if I'd only eat a little bit, but the sugar gets me craving more every bit.

Maryz, yes, like Chriss said...yum scalloped potatoes. I did my laundry yesterday, so the washer is all yours.

Judi, I like going out once in a while, but get tired of it quickly. I like to know what's going into my food.

Tina, We're supposed to get rain today. I share with you. Our boys love to roll in the grass and bring it inside too. Is the plastic to keep the dirt from coming inside?

Maryq, Snow day. Stay inside and sew day!

Jana, sounds like Sarah's got her work cut out for her. Kind of sounds like our government money. Accounts that go to unknow sources.

Lois, sounds like a good day to just hang out and do nothing.

Valerie, I can't wait to see your Mariner's Compass. What colors are you using?

Somebody mentioned Connecting Threads the other day, I completely forgot about them. They used to send catalogs and I would buy things. I guess out of sight out of mind. I'll have to check their website.
I got laundry all caught up yesterday. I've been to see dad this morning. He's still experiencing pain. They keep upping the pain meds, but so far it's not working. So they'll up it again and see if that helps.
The same nurse was out today as yesterday. I really like her. Hopefully she'll come back tomorrow too.

I took 5 large bags of clothing over to Goodwill this morning. I haven't even started on my dad's stuff yet. My mom would find something she liked and buy it in 5 different colors. It makes me laugh. I missed my drawing class this morning, so maybe I'll do some drawing this afternoon. It's supposed to rain, so a good day to stay inside.

I think chicken soup and cornbread will be dinner tonight.

Have a lovely day.

I'm back......
PT was over 1½ hours, we covered a lot.... I'm in pain but I'm taking a little break before I hang the last load of clothes up. My dryer vent got a kink in it somehow so Frankie had to fix that and it caused me to not finish my last load before PT. I have homework for PT 😁 he's got me scheduled for 11 visits; twice a week except this week and next is just once a week because they had to get me fit in.
Chriss, when you use the weed killer put about a tablespoon or good squirt of dawn or whatever dish washing soap you use in it when you mix it up, it helps the killer penetrate the protective coating weeds have. Frankie's nephew worked for the State Engineering office here and he told us to do that and it makes a huge difference. I'll make you 2 Chile rellenos 🤩😁
Lori, the plastic is to keep the fine dirt from coming inside. When the wind is blowing 30+ mph that fine sand gets blown inside through any teeny tiny crevice there is and it doesn't seem to matter how well we think things are sealed.
I got all my stuff watered outside this morning and my last load of laundry is about ready for me to hang it up....I was hoping to get in my sewing room this afternoon but I'm thinking that isn't going to happen.
