Chriss we will see 63 today, our rain has been dropped completely. But 100* at Christmas and a white 4th of July, I am not seeing that happening. Although when we lived in the mountains, we did have snow still on the 4th. Left over of course from a horrendous winter but none the less, it was there. No laundry for me today. Wait, how did Elliott get to be 5 months old? Wasn't he just born?

Lyn how nice of you to shoe that hawk away. I just can't stand bullies! Uhm Marble Falls, I picture marbles tumbling off a cliff. I looked it up, (sorry this is just too intriguing for me to pass on) named for the marble-like appearance of the limestone in the area. Interesting.

Maryq little messes pop up in my house frequently, seems they occur when DH has been there. It drives me nuts, nobody can mess up a kitchen like he can. His foods taste good, but the mess! He attempts to clean and load the dishwasher but the following morning I usually have to finish the job. Many of the embroidery patterns for my new machine are on a app that you put on your tablet. Then you go to the app, make all the edits you want and then hit send. It goes over WiFi. Haven't tried it yet but hoping to soon. I will be needing a quilt label.

Lori Happy Birthday belated to dear Dad. 80*! Wow, we usually don't get there till around Aprilish or mayish, but you never know.

Judi warming to the 20's? That does not sound inviting. I don't know if I could live in that weather again. My Sister wants me to move closer to her when we are both retired but not sure I can breathe with the humidity in the east. DH is working another 2 years if possible so I have a bit of time.

Jana good luck on the new computers. I haven't had a built in numeric keypad for years and have not missed it.

Flo seems like you do a lot of baking. Apple turnovers sound wonderful. Can't remember when I last had one. I do not think I would attempt to self service my machines. I have no idea where to oil or anything like that. So wonderful that you can do that.

Maryz our gas prices were actually maybe 20 cents lower but started going back up at the end of Biden's term. Not that that had anything to do with it. Funny you would mention the BBB. I thought about calling them. I wonder if I could find out someway if they have reports. Yes, Vallejo has turned into what we call Little Oakland. We had 25 murders last year and already 1 or 2 this year. A 4 yr old was hit in the cross fire of a shoot out Just a week maybe ago. She has so far survived but no idea what long term effects there will be. I am quite careful, I do not do any business in this town for any reason unless DH goes with me.

Tina there is an thing called an engine heater I think. We need to get one for DH truck.

Well, I was supposed to go to Rohnert Park today and then Sonoma but the Rohnert Park patient went to the hospital so I will only go to Sonoma. I did do another class this morning. Out time has been limited to 3 hours per week though for classes. I have a 15 minute one I could do but then I am over the 3 hours for this week. I have month 11 cut for my Windsong. I plan to bring it to free Sew on Saturday. I also will bring my blocks I am doing for the APQ magazine. I need to get my little machine (Janome Jem Gold) and make sure it is working or I don't have a machine to take. My travel machine is in the shop. I think Tina mentioned one I have, yes, never been out of the box, Janome 1600P. But it is too heavy for me to lift. On the 30th I pick up the first of the Farmgirl BOM. My other BOM has also been shipped. I am doing pretty good with keeping up. Radiance though I have some frogging to do and resewing. Also need to get my February sewing calendar in order.

Have a great day everyone!

Val - I'll bet I know the company that handled your alarm system. So without naming them, yes here in Utah there are tons of reports on their prehistory practices and people file and fight them all the time. Keep at it, eventually most get money back.
