Been working this morn at creating/setting tons of passwords for job companies, if it gets me something great.. Even if part-time at 1st.
Least companies do reply..
Weather be single digits by MOnday YIPPIE, wearing green tomorrow?

Good Morning Girls
This is Indeed the Day the Lord has made! So much to rejoice in! My BIL (DEX's brother) had heart surgery and is safely home, and my DB (Tim) had back surgery and is safely home with out PAIN for the first time in years! It's a nice sunny day here and I'm home! Can't get much better than that!
Vicky... I have an Iphone too... tho I am still learning how to use it.. My favorite thing is being able to FACE time with Jen in AK. The technology amazes me.. Remember when video phone were science fiction. Download the JOANN app... it brings up coupons that they scan at the cash register! There's also a Michaels app. too. There's so much that phone can do!
Chickie... SNOW???? Oh please say it isn't so! I heard that nasty word in the forecast for us... only consolation is it won't last long.
How fun to have your DGD with you for a few days.
Maryz... NO signs of moving here yet. Yesterday room mate went from bed to couch to back to bed. I gave her a big box for packing and she didn't do a thing with it. She did however, apply for an apartment and is waiting to hear if she's approved. It's 10:30am here and she is still in bed. The laundry in her room is piled high and she could have had the laundry room to herself all day yesterday but didn't do a stitch of laundry! 16 days!!!
She knows I have plans for her room....First thing is ripping out the carpet!!! Amazingly it's not the cats that stink!
Suzette... Oh darn a trip to a LQS.... More snow coming your way!? Hope they are kidding and it misses you.
Sherry... Sorry to hear you have to give up Otis...Probably not a good idea to have a "runner" that you have to chase all the time. I don't understand how people can be so cruel to dogs..
Judi... won't be long now and you'll be sleeping in your bed! Prayers for a safe journey on the last leg of your trip. Boy that month sure went by fast! Before long you'll be washing windows again!
Kathy... .YEAH for 6 pounds!!!! SKYPE is pretty easy really. I don't use it a lot, but once in a while I can get Jen on it. Her computer connection isn't great. But that's how she told me she was expecting Eli.. What a fun way to hear that kind of news!
Becca.... hope you find a new fun project to do now that the baby quilts are almost done. My Daughter in law stopped by this morning and they are waiting for news from her brother today... they are at the hospital right now waiting for arrival of their first baby!
Well girls... I think, speaking of laundry, that I will go start mine and head into the sewing room. Have more R & W blocks cut out to sew today. Have to work next weekend so I want to get a few more done today while I can.
Wishing you all a most wonderful day!!!

Praise the Lord, always!!
Sherry - Sorry to hear about the pup. Don't close your door for months on getting another. My DMIL, years ago, had her German Shepard die in the fall. She said she would not get another dog until the next summer, though she knew she wanted it to be a Rottweiler. I happened to look on Kansas City paper web site one day in February and there was a Rottweiler, free to a good home. Iris was a good dog for her, and is still a good dog. DH's niece and family moved into DMIL house and Iris was able to stay in her home.
Maryz - Sorry we didn't get a chance at that lunch and F.A.R.T. Maybe next year. Sounds like you and DD had a fun time.
It's very windy here today. DH woke up with 102.3 temp. and diarrhea. There's a flu going around and I guess it has got him. Have my Lysol spray and wipes out. Hoping to stay healthy so I can get my birdhouses done.
I'm working on the birdhouses today and making a big batch of beef jerky. Speaking of which, I better go check smoker/grill.

Re: Sunday March 16
Good afternoon from semi sunny but cold, SW. Pa....Looking at the forecast, we're to have a cold week...Mother Nature sure is ticked off!
We went to early Mass and then on to breakfast....So much fun...We haven't been together since before I went away so there was lots to catch up on....And then of course we had to stop at Aldi's...Right now, Jim is watching the Penguins and Flyer hockey game (with his eyes closed).....
Well, tomorrow is the big day....Everyone have all their green ready? Normally Jim wears green, all the time, but today, he really stood out, the Priest even noticed...In this household, you celebrate the whole month of March.....
Reading through the posts, everyone is so busy with 1 project or another....Me, I need a pep pill, can't seem to get motivated...I am doing lazy work, trying to finish a cross stitch picture I started in Florida.....Maybe I need a trip to the quilt shop or Joannes to get me going.....
Sherry, so sorry to hear about Otis...It is too bad they hadn't told you his history before you brought him home....But, the right fur-baby is out there for you, you'll see.....
I've been wondering, have I missed something but where is Karlene? Haven't seen any postings from her in awhile....Hope she and the family are OK.....
Well, time for me to scoot...I think the Pens might need my help.....
You all have a great day...............
Safe travels for those on the road and many, many prayers for those in need......

Re: Sunday March 16
Good cold rainy afternoon soon to turn to snow here too. I hear ya Chickie was in 70s here yesterday and now its 35 BRRRRRR and dropping to be 13 tonight.
Well state passed bill that schools dont have to make up days after 10 missed. YIPPEE so we will see what OUR district does. We already have 13 of the 16 on calendar as makeups.
Sherry so sorry Otis ran away and you gotta take him back. Beagles are known for that too unfortunately. I rescued a dog she ran away and never came back and we never found her either. Sometimes I think they don't tell you that at these shelters.
Maryz I love that music time frame:)) bet you all had a blast:)
Vicky you put my DH favorite verse up thanks its a special one to my heart:) Do you all sing the song of that verse. We use to with our youth:) one of their favorites.
Got the binding done yesterday on 3 lap quilts. Gave pillows to ladies to slip stitch closed today. I just have to finish 8 more valances. Fabric is cut just got to sew it all together:) I cant wait to get pictures to post so you all can see what treasures your rogue blocks have made:))
Taking hexis with me tonight while DH helps youth work on Easter program.
Get some rest all.
God bless and happy thougths

Izzy and Sherry -
I agree about some of the rescues and shelters not telling you everything about the dog you choose to adopt. A friend of mine, her daughter and husband adopted a Pit Bull and it ended up having to go back because it bit two people. It then ended up being put to sleep because they decided it couldn't be adopted out.
I went to the LQS and found the exact fabric I wanted for the border of the braid quilt. If I go to work tomorrow I won't get to work on the quilt till Wednesday. If they close work cause of the weather I will get to work on it. We'll see.

OK this is not funny! We were supposed to get rain first but we didn't. It is snowing. I am so over this! I am supposed to work tomorrow but do not know if they will open. Oh well. Can't do anything about it.
