Good morning!

I am just sitting here with the sewing machine doing it thing - I am embroidering a towel for a gift - just putting a name on it - so it won't take long. Then I am off to do some errands that need attention - meds from Costco - what a trip that will be to pick them up! We only have one Costco on this end of the valley and it is usually a Zoo, without it being Christmas time!

Suzette - Congrats on the new little granddaughter - what a sweet name too!

Kathy - it is so nice to have someone to shovel the snow - my Stu is so good for that - he just comes down and does it for us.

Judi - stay warm and have a fun family party tomorrow - mine will be here too.

Maryq - good job in getting all that done and ready to ship off! I don't get half that accomplished and I don't work!

Maryz - 45 - that is bathing suit weather! LOL We are a balmy 20 this morning. But like you have said, that wood will warm you more than once!

Scrooge came home from shopping last night - hid it all at Sarah's for her to wrap - said that he just got the plywood that he needed - yeah - right! LOL I have a few ideas that I will look into for him - but, what do you get someone that needs nothing!

Well I am off to look at the new family pictures that Matt's family did yesterday - they are online for me to see. We are doing a family picture will all of my kids and grands on New Year's Day - the studio is open and I will have all of them here - time for a new picture. FIL will be there too. The studio has a limit on the number of people in the shot - 15 - but we are 16, but they told us that they can't count - so we will be OK!

Have a great day!
Hugs
Jana

Someone asked about the new furniture - it is 2 new occasional chairs that swivel and rock - bright fire engine red! A new bookcase that has glass doors - I have the love seat from the set that I bought earlier this summer in the front living room too. It is a very small room - now I just need the finishing designer touches - I will let you know when I figure out what those are - I am no good at those! LOL

Break time:)) Uglies are done with exception of laundry still drying and washing. shew. sewing room cleaned up so I can trim lap quilts and bind here in a min. sorted some scraps for the Celtic mystery quilt. Looking through stash for yellows and oranges. UHM not many obviously I dont use those two colors much. May have to pick up a few fat quarters as needed:) ah what a shame to have to make trip to joanns lol

moved DH art studio back into larger room that we were using for FD bedroom. Now tredmill, bumper pool table from my DH's youth, and his art studio is in that room.

Christmas tree to go get tomorrow will go in front of window in that room too.

Only decorations are 3 elves on couch, grinch on loveseat, table topper I made with nativity scene DH won at work on dinning room table. pitiful really but just not in the mood. I guess grands will do that for me in the future--far future I hope lOL.

Ok gotta sew so off I go to sewing room.

God bless
Izzy

We are getting "hit" with the snow.
Emily has a recital in a few minutes and I'm not really looking forward to driving in this snow to get to it. But I am looking forward to the recital.
The kids went and got our Christmas tree last night and we put it up this morning. The last few years we have done our "white" tree this year we pulled out all the old decorations from when the kids were growing up. A lot of them were broken but we got enough to fill the tree. It is pretty, much littler then we usually get too so I think it's cute.
Well I'm off. I found this today:

Have a great day.

Good afternoon from very cold and snowy NW Ohio. I am not going anywhere today. Everything around here is cancelled. I am just sewing and watching the Army - Navy game. Go Navy!! haven't had a chance to read all of everyone's posts today yet. Hoping to start working on the lap robes I want to make for the VA Hospital soon. I have put that project off long enough.

Well everyone in the way of the storm keep warm and dry. I never get used to the snow even after all my life. At least now I don't have to go out if I don't want. One of the benefits of "getting old" and retired.

Well, I'm back, the binding complete. Now I just need to get some photos. After I vacuum the floor I will once again work on getting the DWR sandwiched and pinned. No decorating for Christmas at my house this year since I will be at my DD's.

Izzy your fur babies are adorable.
