Happy Thanksgiving!
We got up at 4:30 to put the turkey on the smoker. I'm headed back to bed here after my visit with y'all. I'm doing all of this sans coffee....!
I will also add my thanks for all of you - you are such a huge blessing to me. I wish I could hug each of you.
Enjoy your day! xoxo Sharona
Let us come before Him in thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song. Psalms 95:2 NIV

Happy Thanksgiving to all my QIAD family!
Just a quick note. I thought everyone would either be sleeping this morning or in the kitchen or on the road. But here you all are!
WE'll be spending the day at my DD#1's house. My DS and DDIL were going to be there, too, but he got word at the last minute that he has to work. So I guess we'll all be thankful that he's making OT wages today. But I'll miss him.
TERESA - loved the turkey! I bet he'd win a presidential pardon in a snap!
I hope your day is filled with special people and special moments.

happy Thanksgiving...there is so much to be thankful for.. we are a very blessed group.
babies have been born, new houses or travel trailers have been bought, birthdays have come and gone, people have gone through medical issues and come out all better, pets and loved ones have gone after touching our lives, and new pets have come into our lives...and through it all God has put his special blessing on all of us...
it truly is great to be us...
I pray that your day is filled with memories that last a lifetime, with stories that are passed down through the generations, and mostly I pray your day is filled with Joy and that God blesses you as much as he has blessed me by knowing all of you....
hugs to you on this day and every day.
Chriss

Happy Thanksgiving....it is snowing and all is white here,,,it is snow beautiful,,,,We will head to my son's house for dinner around 3,,,He lives very close to us so it is not a problem. Just a bit of grass showing now Tonight I will finally turn on the outside lights and tomorrow the village goes up and the Christmas music starts to play and Ken hides.....He is my (said lovingly) Mr, Grinch. But he tolerates his crazy wife. This is my favorite time of the year,
Dinner at my sis was great she has a kooky family, but they welcome us as their own...Cindi was there and anticipating her surgery, but she looked good and is very positive...
I also am very blessed to be part of this group and love you all...I hope your day is filled with love and friendship no matter how you spend the day....I too wish we could all get together and celebrate our friendship/ XXXOOO

Happy Thanksgiving to you all
Teresa I love the turkey!!
God bless us as a nation and as a forum here this morning. We have so much to be thankful for FREEDOM,FAMILY, LOVE, FOOD, SHELTER just to name a few.
Have a great day and will check back tomorrow to see if we all overate and if the triptophane is still kicking in.
Was up at 5 to feed Miracle: couldnt find her in stall when I got down there. Then saw her lil tail wag; she was laying between peanut and bale of hay sooooo sweet first time a mommma has nesteled that close with her. She has nursed twice; once sitting in my lap at 5 this morning and then at 8 on her own with me just sitting there praising peanut. Peanut is a great goat to adopt her and take care of her like she is. Too sweet.
God Bless and happy eating today to all

Teresa, Love the cute turkey. Thanks for smile this am.
To everyone on this forum, Happy Thanksgiving to all of you today. You all are indeed El's Angels. You have been there so many times for me and my family when we needed your prayers and kind words in time of trouble.
Some days I think I don't have time, or don't need to be on this forum, but you all are my friends and I enjoy hearing about your lives, your joys and your troubles too. You are in my thoughts and prayers. You have prayed us thru so much illness and problems over the yrs since I joined. I would be lost without you, my beautiful forum family. We all have watched many miracles in our lives thru the prayers and love of this group.
May God bless you all today in some special way and all your tomorrows too. Don't forget to give thanks for all your blessings today too. Love and hugs, Shirley Mae
ps I saw this on the internet last night.......What if you woke up tomorrow with only the things you were thankful for today. .......
Something to think about. Thank you God for all my friends today too.

You have all said it so well, that I will just say DITTO on the thankfulness, love and blessings.
We will be trying a small turkey on our Treager grill. DH isn't big about going up to the club house for the dinner they have. That's OK, I have a lot I need to get done, since I was gone 5 days.
Blessings to all,
Lyn

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!
I was here earlier this morning, like about 1:30AM MN time... Was thinking I would be the first to start the day, but Teresa beat me to it. I had just gotten home from work and thought I'd stick in a message... turns out I couldn't keep my eyes open so I went right to bed. Work was crazy busy last night--several people that are on the over night shift didn't show up and they were very short handed so they called me in about 10pm. Fortunately I didn't need to stay too long to get caught up--but I just know tomorrow is going to be NASTY!, as there are lot of techs given the day off!
It's a beautiful sunny day here and supposed to be warm up to 28* above! Will make it a lot easier for holiday travelers. Room mate just left to go home for the weekend-so I have the place to myself--well me and the cats!
We do all have so much to be Thankful for... and I try to remember that every day---so many blessings have been bestowed on us. When I discovered this forum almost 7 years ago I had NO idea what I was getting into. But what a joy it is to be a part of this amazing group. Truly this forum is a phenomenon. I have learned so much from all of you-and not just how to miter a corner or sew on a binding, but all the ways we as quilters can share and be a part of each other's lives no matter where we live.
Time for me to get ready to go to dinner at Kevin's in-laws... after that I'm coming home for a nap--if I don't get a call to come to work--I'm on call. Then I'll sew!
Wishing you all a MOST WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING DAY!!
love you all
