Good morning....it will be a busy day here... lots to do.

Dolores.. I am trying to work on my SSanta projects.. I have two, maybe three things I want to make...I hope you can post a picture soon so I can see what you made.. did you use that pretty fabric you posted.?

Judi, I think Mary is back, you're gonna get in trouble for saying the fish word...oops, looks like we will be in trouble together...lol

Kathy, I wish I could stay up till 1:30 and sew, but there are others living here an 18 minute walk sounds great... my car is green... very light green...I just hope that when my license plates come they don't spell something odd like once my sis had frt...mine had grr.. I like grr better than frt...

Cindy.. happy new tennis shoe shopping.. so I have to know.. do you have a plan for the quilt show or do you just walk in the door and look around... I usually go up and down the vendor rows at a quilt show then see the quilts...

Karlene.. it will be wonderful to have no car repairs.. I prayed all the way to the dealer that my jeep wouldn't die...

Maryq.. I'm trying to catch up with everyone here too.. seems like lots has happened in the last couple of days.... I also was excited to qualify for my car on my own.. and got the lower interest rate... funny thing is my step brother just posted on FB that he bought a Subaru Outback the day after I bought my Forrester..

Chickie.. I just realized.. the gal who sold me the car had family in Kansas.. thanks for thinking of my grandma...you must have a zillion small or one huge pecan tree.. Jerry loves pecans.. do you have a super pecan pie recipe? he made sweet potatoes that had pecan's on top, they were wonderful.

Jana.. I looked at the highlander but it was too big for me... I almost got a Rav4 but the salesman was not a people person...sadly...

Scrappy Pat, your post made me laugh.. in these hills... was that a boobie joke?...lol...on Hollywood squares Paul Lynde was asked... true or false, there is a bra that plays a tune when it's squeezed and he simply sang.. the hills are alive with the sound of music... cracks me up every time...

Sharona.. not sure about the flower beds.. I would ask Maryq or Judi, I imagine you need to cover things that may get frost...so??? how many boxes do you have left? Jerry has one ceiling left to paint then I need to come up with wall colors.. ugh.

Lyn, I am amazed at hwo many people have a Subaru...I sure wish you'd send me a few fish, I love them... but they would start smelling before they got to Cali, and would likely leak through the envelope..

Izzy.. I sure wish we had tomatoes still... but no such luck.

Tina.. if you hit the lottery I only need 150,000... hope that baby shows up soon...prayers for your parents safe travel.

Carole, I wish I had been with you at camp too.

Judi, why does Ken take his CPAP off?

Suzette, you are such a whirlwind in that sewing room...

Kathy, I find cooking a roast in one of those browning bags in the oven really helps.. I just use salt, pepper and garlic powder...

Velda, soudns like you are ready for your trip.

Dolores.. prayers for Carmine...

Lois...you have quite a sewing set up there...hope your right foot heals soon.

Maryz.. I am so glad you got Scottie...sounds like he fits right in..and that he doesn't mind helping clean the kitchen....

I need a shower, then it's soccer and I can get my paperwork stuff taken care of then sew.. I pray I get to sew very soon...

you all have a groovy day,
Chriss

I went to the hospital this morning and then Emily and I went down to the fire station at the end of our road to a craft fair. I saw a lot of nice things but didn't end up buying anything, not even the rolo cookies....that was hard.

We are going to bake a bunch of butternut squash and freeze them today and Darryl is pushing me to get with it so I better go.

Talk later,
Vicky

Tea Time....

Well.....the quilt won out over uglies. It's done & now in the dryer.
I'll take photos & yet again try to post it/them. After I finish uglies I need to make 4 labels & sew them on. OH my tea bag split, tea loose in the mug! I need to sandwich something to quilt at night or day. (:

Dolores....baby showers are the best. Have fun. Will pray for Carmine.

Velma....I can see your excitement building. Praying for good reports from the Dr.

Lois.....I have tried sewing with my left & was surprised I could do it fairly easy.

Maryz....welcome back we missed you. Looks like even puppy had a really good time. Looks like I need to go out for beer & a pot roast. I want to have a family dinner. It's pot roast weather.

Chriss....my old license plate was KATYHSCA for 'Kathy's ca' as we say in Mass language. NOW mine "3KEG20". All it needs is a $ and it would great for a college kid. I like the light green cars I've been seeing. I remember those bags. I'll look for them.

Vicky.....love butternut squash it's on my next shopping list.

Tea is gone...bbl......Kathy

Left the house at 945 and just got back at 3:) Shew I am worn out. Went to check on my parents ended up on hands and knees calking the bathroom baseboard for my mom. LOL had coffee and pineapple upside down cake as payment yum LOL like I need pymt. They kill me on that one like I am a hired hand and not their DD:))

Then DFD and I went to the dreaded wally world. Crowded as usual but needed some groceries and she got a new ds game. Also stopped in at dollar tree and she had me down every isle. If I heard Mom once i heard it 100 times:) she is napping now so house is quiet AMEN :))

stopped at two yard sales on way home DFD loves them so made it a day for her. Junk nothing good. I did get a really nice sweater at one for 5 bucks. :)

Well uglies then hopefully some sewing later.

You all have been busy too I see. Will keep those in need mentioned in prayer. Tina hope DD gets some rest and this delivery is quick:)

cold and windy leaves a falling
More uglies are a calling!!

God bless and happy thoughts

Good later afternoon from chilly, dreary, not nice,(weather wise), SW. Pa....
I'm taking a break and then heading up stairs to put away the sewing room and turning it back into a bedroom....I have been really cleaning up a storm, you'd think I was getting company, lol.....I did talk to Kathy yesterday and her flight comes in at 3:00 and she wasn't sure if they would rent a car or us pick them up and they could use our's....I just want her home, no matter how they get here.....
Here in SW. Pa., we're having water problems...Something happened at one of the dams and most of the counties around here have to boil our water...What a pain and they now say, it might last until Tuesday....Even washing dishes, if by hand, fill the sink and add bleach and then sit the washed dishes in this solution for at least 5 minutes...They said it's safe to shower but just not ingest any...We've even made sure the furbabies water dishes had boiled water....Like I said, what a pain......

Chriss, I was so happy to hear you had gotten a new ride and of course you know I'd love the color..If I really try hard, I can imagine that new smell....May you have many, many years of safe miles and happy driving....Have you given it a name? I call our's the "Silver Bullet"....

Well, as much as I'd love to stay and chat, I need to get moving...At the rate I'm going, I'll be at it till midnight.....But, I am so excited.......

You all have a good rest of the day..............Notre Dame is just coming on.....Go ND!

Well, I am finished with the Breast Cancer quilt. It is now officially an inside project. I have the binding folded over and will sew it tomorrow. I was hoping to get it done so I could give it to the guy at work. It is for his daughter. Have a wonderful evening.
