Good morning everyone. I didn't make it to church this morning my asthma decided to act up a bit. I guess I will just stay in and finish pinning my quilt so I can start quilting it this week. I also have 2 cross-stich projects going so I guess I will be busy. I mowed the yard yesterday so I need to get out and do a little trimming today may-be. LOL

Suzette - So glad you got your hubby back in the hospital. Men can be so "bull-headed". I know he will get good care there. I will keep both of you in my prayers for a quick recovery.

Jana - You can't go wrong with a John Deere mower. I have a 60" zero turn John Deere that my DH bought for me several years ago since he was no longer able to mow. I have about 4 acres to mow and can get it done in about 2 hours. I do my own maintenance on it because it is so easy. I tell people I would give up my hubby before I would give up my John Deere. LOL

Cindyg - Enjoy your "do nothing" Sunday. I agree with you about photo bucket I ran off the directions, but they look like "Greek" to me. I have got to figure it out some how so I can post my quilts to show all of you.

Chrissy1 - I know how you feel about not hearing from Mo. It seems like forever. When my son Doug was in Desert Storm that was before e-mail. It took two weeks from the time I wrote to him until I got a letter back. Doug and family are going to Okinawa in October for three years and we will be able to Skype each other. What would we do without our computers? Hang in there you will hear from him soon. I am looking forward to hearing from you about where his assignment will be after training. After 25 years I have information about a lot of different areas of the Corps so am interested in where he will be stationed. So glad you found some Marine Corps fleece. Looking forward to seeing the quilt.

grammiequilts - Loved the photos from the quilt show. I only live about 3 hours from Grand Rapids so may-be next year I will make the trip. Photo bucket really confuses me. If you get it figured out let me know.

Well, better go get some lunch before the NASCAR race gets going. I will keep all of you in my prayers.

Suzette glad to hear things are improving.

Great photos Judi. Looks like you got to see some great quilts. At Long Beach a couple weeks ago, there were more art quilts. Very few traditional.

Yesterday I quilted up a charity quilt and put the binding on. Today I think I'll pull out one of my WIP's.

Have a fabulous Sunday everyone.

Just thought I would pop in and let you all know, that I am still around. I have been "summertime busy" these last few days. No time for sewing, that's for sure, and I have not even opened up my lap top for three days, until right now.

Friday was a special day spent with a good friend of mine. Saturday, our son and his family came to visit, they stayed over night and just went home about two hours ago. It was a lot of fun, but even a short visit can make you tired. DH is down for a nice nap, so that made me think that I must try to catch up here and then go and watch "Cedar Cove" that we DVR'd for me last night.

Suzette, prayer for hubby. hope all turns out good in the end. It's tough to wait and wait on tests and reports. Good Luck.

For all the rest, I will read and try to soak up all the info and enjoy reading about your adventures and successes and fun, fun, fun.

Hugs

Suzette, prayers for your hubby and you too. Praying that the drs can figure out the proper treatment for your DH and he is on the road to a quick recovery. May God bless you for sitting there sleeping in a chair.

In all our travels for 8 yrs, I spent a few mostly sleepless nights in chairs too. You feel so alone and yet you just can't leave their side. A nurse told me there was a waiting room with a couch just down the hall, but I thought I had to be there in case Rod woke up and felt all alone. I pulled the chair up beside his bed, and rested my arms and head on the side of the bed. Prayers that you don't have to sleep in that chair too much longer.

God bless you both today and always. Love and hugs, Shirley Mae Thanks for keeping us posted on what is going on.
