Karlene - LOL - sometimes chain piecing isn't all it's cracked up to be. It's too easy to get things turned the wrong way - at least for me it is. All these holes in my head......

Good morning!

The sun is brightly shining again in my window! I love sunshine!

Ethan will be coming over - later this morning - his dad has a interview here in the area - and will get him later in the afternoon.

Our neighbor is getting his topsoil for the backyard this morning - so his swing/playset is sitting in my backyard. We will see how good his topsoil is and may order from the same company. On Friday, Matt is bringing out a couple of the young men in his Ward that want to earn some money - we will pay them to haul all the heavy wall stones to the backyard and they will clean out the weeds there too. Then we can till and level what nasty dirt we have and then bring in the good stuff and the lawn.

So not much going on here - same old same old -

We found at Home Depot some laminate flooring that looks like cork flooring for the basement - it is tough enough to handle the weight of the new LA - it glues together to itself and floats on the floor - easy to install - I hope! LOL

Well I am off to get some uglies caught up - reminds me - I saw a story on the news about a guy who started cleaning franchises - now has a Museum of Clean! Tons of windows, etc - but mostly old toilets - antiques as he called them! LOL So if you are ever in Pocatello Idaho - about 3 hours north of me and want some good clean fun - stop by - now you know - ROFLOL!!! This is a interactive place for the kids to learn how to clean. Schools take field trips there.

A quick hello! We are having light rain with storms forecast here later. Yesterday we acquired a bunch of irises--have no idea of colors--and planted them along the fence row with some that were there when we moved here. DH has been siding with DS1 and DGS on a little rental house of DS1's. I've been helping DDIL with dinners the last two evenings. It has been a lot of fun although I don't get a lot done. Today with the rain, I really hope to sew!

Good Morning

Okay, who has the sun today and would you please return it to Minnesota!! Got to sleep in a bit this morning as I'm working late shift today, need to get a couple minor uglies done this morning before work.

Lois... oh yes time is going by way too fast.. I don't mind that the work week goes quickly, I just wish the weekends would slow down--so I could get more done. In the summer, everything depends on the weather--sew if it rains and work if the sun shines.

Chriss... I have laminate floor in my kitchen and I LOVE IT! So easy to clean, just a little vinegar water is all it takes. If Jerry gets done painting, send him up here I have some spots needing painting too. Am waiting for the it to HIT ME to paint! gotta be in just the right mood... the painting is easy, it's the prep work I hate!

Vicky... Congratulations to you and Caleb!! What are his plans now? College? What a handsome young man.

Kathy.... all sorts of prayers coming your way for your trip to be with your DD. I hope she heals quickly and will be on her feet soon.
Will your neighbors keep an eye on your house while you're gone?

Sharon....Strawberry-rhubarb pie NUMMY!!! One of my favorites warmed up a bit with ice cream! My Dad used to make a lot of jam and jelly. If a batch didn't set right he used it for topping on ice cream! Never heard of "Game of Thrones" must be on cable TV and I don't have cable.

Cindyg....Prayers continue for your BFF's DH. You surely will bring some cheer to him with your quilt. Do they have other friends and family close by?

Karlene.... don't you just love baby bumps! They are just so cute. It's funny that the daddys get "sympathy bumps too" When is Victoria due? October? November?

Judi... your friends LA needing an overhaul reminds me that I should probably take my little Elna is for a check up too. I just can't stand to be without it! Jen has my spare machine. But then on the other hand, if my machine was gone for a bit... just think of all the house chores I could get done!

Well girls I know I have missed some of you, but I better get a move on here this morning and take advantage of the time before I have to get ready for work.

A beautiful day here in the neighborhood! Alas, I am sitting in a windowless warehouse office..... Oh well, at least I got to see the sun driving in to work! A day full of scanning and filing is in store for me...I can hardly wait.

Hello.......

All is delivered. But all is not well. When I get back a technician will have to come fix a drawer & do something about the recliner is too high up for me to sit on.....lol Sometimes it's not easy being 5'1". I'm happy..

Karlene....the weather here is cool,63', crisp & wonderful. Happy binding.

Ching....I have seen the wood tile. Very nice. LOL...No, I'm not at DD's. I've just been talking about it all the time while waiting.
So sorry to hear about your DH's BFF. I will keep them all in my prayers.

Jana....have fun with Ethan...(: That sounds like a good plan for the stone & weeds.

Chickie....,I love Irises. Each year I'll add more flowers. It's so fun watching for the in the spring.

Mary....thank you & all of you for all the prayers for my daughter. They sure worked. I missed Sharon's Straw/Rhubarb pie. My favorite too.
My rhubarb roots have not popped up you. I love rhubarb jam to..

Kathy--I'm not feeling the love here for Debby's grandson's dog... "Rennie" dug up all our rhubarb and destroyed it. She also got in my tomatoes and broke off my big cherry tomato bush with all the tomatoes on it! Sigh!!! I do love tomatoes and rhubarb... just not together! You would love our sofa--it sits too low for me, once I get on it, it grabs me and won't let me get up! I like something that sits taller. I like the "big boy" recliner that someone gave us after the fire... it still makes me want to sleep when I sit in it, but at least it lets me up!

Vicky--Caleb looks great! I was so pleased when my DGS didn't go to his 8th grade graduation in shorts and tennis shoes! I know you are so proud of Caleb for his accomplishment!!! Congratulations to him!!!
