GooooooD mornin' everyone. I woke up to snow this morning. It'll probably all be melted before noon though. I'm gonna get started on sewing again. I'm really pumped about getting the other half of the 'footballs' completed. I know all of you will be glad when I get them finished so I'll shut up about them. LOL

Who are all of the Bad Girls Club members? I just made the list yesterday. LOL

Teaching today. I am having new tile and carpet put throughout my house beginning Monday. They are going to move the big stuff, but I have to empty the china cabinets, entertainment center and bookshelves. I worked on this yesterday until I was ready to drop, and didn't feel like I got very far. So the rest of the week that is what I will be doing. It seems silly to worry about mopping tile I am ripping out and replacing. However, I don't want them down there on dirty floors thinking how nasty! So I'll mop and vacuum everything Sunday evening. My week is busy, so I'll just have to work it in. No sewing for me, except for Friday night. Our guild is doing a cyber class for those who are on our MyFamily site. The girl who set it up and I are meeting at the LQS to work and post online. I really have to find time between now and then to do my cutting. Gotta decide what fabric before then, too. I worked on it last night, but couldn't decide. I need 15 different fabrics and I only had twelve.

Good morning everyone. I am on my way out the door to get my eyes checked and make a run to the grocery store. Ugh! Maybe I can sew this evening.

Brenda I am so sorry for the mess! I really do not envy you and feel bad for ya. The clean up will be the worst. But? It'll be nice and clean when it is done.

It is supposed to rain and maybe have thunderstorms later this evening. I hope no severe stuff! DH mowed up the fallen leaves and cleaned up the yard & I have been puttering around the house. Just can't get motivated. Could be because I have a project that I cannot find any applique flowers that I like for, that I need to finish up & I am refusing to start another thing until I get that out of my way. LOL I know, I could stuff it in the closet like it doesn't exist and start something that excites me. LOL That is how those UFO's grow! LOL See ya'll later. Hope you all have a productive & fun day.

Hugs

Poor Bud! Bet he won't be so full of himself when he comes home this evening. I think it is sad when they return home from the big snip. They're still a bit woozy lookin' and just not right. lol Well dang! That is some males all the time! LOL

Happy birthday, Maryq!

Brenda, you might want to invest in a shop vac - you can vacuum up water with it.

Well i did get the water up with old towels and blankets and they ofcourse went into the garbage YUCK. Just the idea of washing and reusing them is horrible. Saturday my sister is coming over with old mops and stuff and we will get it cleaned. Until then that area will not be touched. Again do not use flushable wipes in your toilets. It is a fib, they do not flush in older homes at least. I sure have learned my lesson and my little girl knows now also. She had to use the restroom last night and go nervous about the toilet paper and panicked so I told her that was ok to flush. She felt much better after that and much relieved in more ways than one since she was afraid to even go near the upstairs toilet thinking the same thing would happen there LOL.

Afternoon My sis and my neighbor just left.....sis brought over a bag of fabrics and old patterns from her Mil who died a couple of month ago. Bless her heart there are patterns cut out of magazines and papers from the 40's through the 60's...not much usable fabric though...It was a lot of cut up pieces....she hand pieced and hand quilted so Some will just have to be thrown away.....In her later years her sight was going and somethings aren't cut straight or even...I salvaged what I could and because they smoked in the house I put it all in the washer ASAP...I still have a box of old templates cut from cardboard and old patterns.....If anyone would like them or collects old patterns PM me I can send them to you I know I will never use them .

Rosebud, I don't think there is an actual LIST of those in the Bad Girls Club - who'd want it published anyway? Some of us just drift in and out depending on our fabric buying sprees. It is an ELITE group, though, so be proud - and ENJOY that new book!!
