I dreamed of my design wall cause I had a layout I wasnt pleased with & when I got up I moved it around (from my dream) & whahoo it works.LOL

Beautiful weather here except for the high winds. Some areas of San Diego Cty its blowing 50mph. Nice here tho. Fires are still raging & will be for awhile.

GP I love Kadie's solution for a solid election. My favs are peaches & apples. Yum Yum. I will be incharge of your stash & make sure no one gets to it. I will have the only key. ROFLOL

I'm off this AM to my DGD first grade class to help with reading. This will bring back memories when I helped in my kids classes on my days off.

Then home to hopefully finish sewing the binding (by hand) on DGS quilt. I need to remember to keep my shoulders down. otherwise I need to be at the chiro. with GP and luv2. LOL

Have a great day everyone

Those pics are beautiful. Where do you live?

Good morning everyone. Oh, I just love the fall pictures that some of you are posting. Gorgeous. Thanks to daylight savings time I'm up before the butt-crack of dawn. We are getting a soft rain today which we really needed. It's suppose to be raining until Friday. DewDew - I missed the political campaign, too, so I'll have to back track. I'm at work so no sewing until tonight. Last night I made 8 more blocks to send to Sarah for the Angel quilts. Tonight I'll keep piecing the back for my Christmas quilt. Maybe I'll get through with it. then I can start ironing and cutting that gorgeous fabric to make El's Pink Lemonade. I'm really getting excited about the Houston Int'l. Quilt Festival - and I will be bouncing off the walls until then so y'all just bear with me. Only 16 more days - YEE HAW!!

Morning everyone,
I have been busy drawing the quilting lines on our little granddaughter, Izabella's quilt. I am determined to have a quilt handquilted for each of our 4 grandkids this Christmas. My dh thinks I am taking on too much, but I know I can do it. LOL Of course, I have to take a break to do some creating every once in a while. I laid awake last night thinking about what design I wanted to quilt on Izzie's quilt. LOL So I am kind of tired today, but plodding along. I fixed chicken salad and deviled eggs yesterday, so that will be lunch with some pork'n'beans added. Now I don't have to quit quilting to make dinner. (grin) It isn't raining at the moment, but we are supposed to get more in here this afternoon. I believe we got 1/2 inch yesterday. Well, better get back to work. Everyone have a great day. I will check back later.

Afternoon ladies. I am still at work but will be leaving soon for the day. After dinner I am going to hopefully finish the quilt top for my sister in-law as well as answer questions for my husband. he is filling out applications online looking for a job. Just about everyone does it online now. Anyway. . . .

Have a good day

Hi, I am a big girl now but I have never done this before. You all seem like a really nice bunch. We live just outside Houston in Cypress and I have been quilting less than a year. I started machine embroidery but there is nothing left to embroider but quilt squares so I sort of left that behind and am beginning to quilt. Some of you sure seem to get a lot of work done in a little bit of time. Where did you learn to make such good use of your time? Later, Norma

Beautiful fall pictures!

We are still running the air conditioner during the day, it is hot and humid today. I loved it when we lived overseas, we had nice cold winters with snow and beautiful spring days and warm, not hot, summers.

I am still working on those coasters, I keep getting interupted. I had to go drop off DD#3 at work, she will be there until 6:00 pm tonight, thank God it won't be another late night.

Welcome Norma!

Good use of time.LOL

We get lots of quilting done by letting everything else go.LOL

I don't know how I get things done, I just pick days that I need to do the weekly cleaning and then just take sewing breaks to get the daily stuff taken care of. This does not always work out but I do my best and have a great DH that is very understanding.
