Good morning. What a beautiful day it is today.

I ended up doing some grocery shopping yesterday, today I have to clean up around here. I've decided that after my windows are installed there will be no construction type projects going on around here for at least a little while. I'm non-committal in picking a time range because you never know what dad has planned.

Lois, wow, 3am, that is early. Isn't it nice to go shopping and get everything you need quickly? I usually go through the self checkout line, but yesterday I had to go to a certain register because I wanted to purchase a lighter. They are behind the counter. Hope the Derm appointment goes well.

Judi, you are the best grammie ever. Hope that after the therapy and hockey game you get to stay home until the storm is over.

Flo, everyone is expecting snow and I am wishing I had a furnace already installed. You girls are showing me I have nothing to complain about. A month without heat is nothing compared to 10 inches of snow.

Diane, hope your power cooperates and stays on. Are the lines underground or on poles.

Maryz, you did have a full day. You are coming along really nicely, high five. Thing about an annual raffle quilt is as soon as you are finished with this one you can think about and start the next one and get ahead of yourself. I know exactly the adaptor you are talking aobut. I have so many tools out in that garage, I have two tall tool boxes full, two of the top part of the tall tool boxes partially full and numerous hand carry tool boxes. I have a zillion sockets, drillbits, screwdrivers and wrenches. so many duplicates it nuts. And I have sets of things in cases. It's overwhelming. Yes, I bring home what I don't get rid of at the fabric swap.

Tina, don't let DH's grumpies affect you. Meet him with a kind word and a smile. You are such a positive kind person I hope you get some sewing done and cheerfully go about it. Here's a hug. Those stinkin' squirrels. they sure are a pain.

Maryq, dang girl, I can't imagine your kind of cold, crazy. I also bebop around here doing a little bit here and there and not accomplishing a while lot, such is life. I'd like it to warm up enough for me to work outside. What I really need to do is quit shopping online. Amazon, Etsy and Pinterest should be blocked for a couple of months here.

Jana, I think Mother Nature just doesn't want you to undo what she would like to do. She knows you have all those snow removing tools and has decided to move on. If you get the garland, even though it's a bit pricy, it will last you forever.

Not sure if dinner will be taco salad or if it will be garlic sausages with fried cabbage. I will know more later.

You all have a super day,
Chriss

Jana, we're waiting on the big earthquake here.

Maryq, those temps are crazy. Can you image what people did before central heating? They must have been more tolerant of the cold.

Maryz, is the weather good enough to walk outside? You just have to be more vigilant about your surroundings. Falling is not an option. Yay for a good nights sleep. I slept about 5 1/2 hours last night, but my body feels fatigued. I don't think it was restful sleep.

Tinab, squirrels are pests. Hopefully the birds will find them and take it back.

Diane, sure hope it's not too bad and your power stays on.

Lois, I used to use coupons all the time until they stopped having them. If you're a member at Costco, your automatically get the coupon price they have for that week.

Chriss, you were a stealth ninja and snuck in while I was typing. You've pretty much done everything in your house haven't you? I wouldn't think there was much more to do.

My son Jonathan is supposed to get the bitter cold down in Jasper TX this weekend. He has a generator and a large backup battery if he needs it. I told him to come west. I'm heading out to sew at a friends house today. I'm just taking handwork. I don't want to load the sewing machine and everything else.
We had a contractor come over yesterday and ordered our new garden window for the kitchen. Once that's in we can do the counter tops and appliances. Dinner will be BBQ chicken and potatoes with onion and a veggie.

Have a lovely day.
