Insurance finally approved Rehab hospital late this morning. Only 10 days, but it's a start.

I thought we were going to have a tele conference with Neurologist, but we're not. The test results were sent to him to review and determine when Garry can be moved to Rehab Hospital. Case manager came in and Neurologist has said he can be moved today. Transport will be here soon.

Here's what the Nurse told me.
It's called a Left Pontine Infarction
When he came in first tests Was 14x5 mm of damaged tissue
Tests Yesterday Now 24x12 mm of damage, dying tissue
They say it's an Evolving stroke, don't know if it will continue to get worse.

Kaylyn and I will follow ambulance to the hospital and sure he's ok for the night. Going to be some longer days ahead.

Lyn, glad you were able to get the insurance approved. What you have to go through is a bit ridiculous. The hospital wouldn't be able to discharge him if he's incapacitated.
